I managed to get the lobby working, but once I am in there I can't join the servers.
I also got that TROJAN horse message from my antivirus when trying ti install RBR 3.0 net

Anyone knows?

Do you see any servers at all or is lobby empty?
Be more specific or we won't be able to help you.

I believe the antivirus msg is a known false positive.

I had seen a server there, that didn't require a password.
Tried to join it and It wouldn't do anything at all.
I clicked on it, I selected it and clicked JOIN.
Nothing happened.
I am starting to believe it was on my end.
Do I need any ports? As far as I know I don't need to set ports to be a client.

Thxs Guys !

I'd try to connect to Race2Play server. You don't have any proof that the server you tried to connect to was properly set up so it may be it's fault, not yours.
If you can't connect to r2p server, than you have a problem :)

I haven't seen R2P server out there in the last couple of days. And It would be pretty sad to miss the first event because Not doing some previous testing.

i reinstalled everything again and see what happens

You can of course practice off-line. No difference really, especially if there is no one else in the server.

I am sure Tim will put the server up before the official times start. Also, the lobby is kind of wishy-washy, most of the time on the previous series I just connected directly to the server, bypassing the lobby.
