I was unable to participate in the GDC: V8 @ Bathurst event because I was unable to get the password in time. Evidently, the "My R2P - Daily Portal - Event" page for your latest race goes away as soon as that event starts (practice?) As I was late getting home from work and not having time to check out the password before leaving for work, I was unable to get the p/w as the event info was no longer available (it was about 10 min. after practice started) I then attempted to get on TS so I could get the p/w that way, but as luck would have it, I got a message that said my sound driver was missing!!! Needles to say, I missed that event. : ( Could it be possible to make it so the event info could stay up at least till the time the actual race starts? Thanks for having a forum where these subjects can be discussed. Dan |

Funny thing Dan but the same thing happened to me Wed night for the Birmingham race. Joined near the end of practice i think & couldn't get the password. Tried refreshing etc but nothing came up; ended up watching the race replay instead... |

go on teamspeak to your event and a lot of racers are there...they could give you password too if they know you. |

The event and password itself does not disappear from your Daily Portal page until after qualifying has begun. If you miss it on your Daily Portal page, qualifying has already begun |

To clarify my situation, I 'signed up' for the event during the practice or near the start of the qualifications Wed. night. Is that cutting it too close & the reason why i didn't get a password? |
