Been racing the ECCI setup for a few months now...but no cockpit yet...gotta say though some of what we have here (TIM) is far out!

Well, whatever setup you have im sure its better than mine! I've got a Logitech DFP with Trackstar 6000 2 pedal set. and the pedals dont even work properly because of some wiring issue in the DFP! (I just ordered the HD-USB upgrade though, so hopefully that will be fixed soon).
Instead of racing with my own system, I have to use my brothers Logitech G25 on his slightly inferior PC! Beat that for lousiness :P

hehe, yes you are welcome

Yes the cockpits and my desk can be very annoying for normal PC use. That is why I bought my Laptop! The other 5 monitors (and 2 PCs) are not used for anything but sim racing :)

LOL.

Wonder if you can map ecci wheel and pedal movements so you can use your entire pc through the setup...

so you'd always be practicing!

"Wonder if you can map ecci wheel and pedal movements so you can use your entire pc through the setup...

That very thought was brought up long ago on another web site. Seriously. Even if it could be done, the wheel would only move the mouse left/right in a straight line. The pedals might be able to move it up/down in a straight line. Kinda limiting.
