What a darned disappointment!!! After rushing home after they eliminated the 2nd shift letting me off early... I get on the line for start of race and what do I see... PAVEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT! Somehow, I got into a mouse controlled cam mode. When I touched my mouse, the view rotated! I got it pointed in the general direction but not till I ran into the armco. With the mouse sitting on the mouse pad which is attached to my race frame, all was OK (still cocked view but in general direction) till the mouse moved do to my wild steering maneuvers and I proceeded to slam into the armco ripping 2 wheels off the car - end of race! : ( How did this happen? I haven't got a clue what key activates this process, happened to me once before too. Guess I'll post in computer group too, I need to know so I can totally disable this mouse cam for good! Thanks for any help you boys can give me. Dan |

By default its the "U" key in rfactor, and GTR 2 has no default. Take a look in the control options, it sais which key enables free mouse look. Cheers Dan! |

That's it Richie! Now I'll just pluck that pesky "u" key out of my keyboard and be forever free from that ever happening again!!! haha Thanks for the tip, I'm still gnashing my teeth about missing the Nord race. : ( Dan |

You could always just avoid touching the U button instead of mapping it to nothing. I quite enjoy checking out the interiors of a new car with the U button. You often see little details that you otherwise wouldn't have done. The CTDP F1 cars are a good example. |
