Infernal Motorsports will be making an official press release in the coming week to formally submit a team entry into the upcoming Grand-Am series at Race2Play through seasons 10 and 11.

The series, spanning two full R2P seasons, will see mixed class racing with both prototype and GT classes on the track. All indications point to a new tandem from Infernal composed of team-mainstay Justin Rebelo joined by newly signed driver Kevin Banic, of Nexus6 and Melchione Motorsports pedigree.

Both Banic and Rebelo were seen competing in pre-season exhibition events. If these exhibitions are in fact Grand-Am warmups, then it would suggest that Rebelo will be driving the #6 996 GT3 with Banic piloting the #66 C6.

Word from the track is that the team was also sporting a new custom paint scheme common to each car, but no photos or video are available at this time. One can only expect that the team will be releasing press packages when the official announcement is made.
