I see a lot of listings for full length gp dvds on ebay. Has anyone ever bought any of these? I'm interested mostly in older races 70s and 80s and I can't quite bring myself to pay for a high price for something someone is just burning over and over again... but maybe a group buy and then swap? anyways, just kinda thinking out loud... not really a movie but a full race from 1979 might be better than stallone in a champcar ;) cheers, oliver |

Hi Oliver - I haven't seen the posts, but will tell you that I have 1970 through 1979 F1 Season Reviews - they are the ones from Duke Video and while they don't show the entire GP's for the years, there is compiled footage that runs for each race with a respectable commentary. The trouble is they are all in PAL format and being in the states I can only play them on my PC right now. If you are interested, I could burn them for you as long as we can discuss covering the costs of DVD's and shipping...maybe it would work out better for you? Anyway - i'll root around on my pc for full length GP's from the era as well. Let me know what you think...i'm not looking to make money at all, just cover costs and help a fellow R2P mate out. mogwai |
