About us

Phoenix Racing was born out of the ashes of the Phoenix F1 team I started back in December 2002 (racing in an offline F1 league called the GPVWC, and later known as the F1VWC).

Quite a few drivers from the F1VWC also came across to R2P in 2008, and raced for the new team at that time.

As at 9th December 2012:-
Phoenix Racing has now completed 2,001 events at R2P and 216,652 racing miles, with a total of 84 Wins, 480 Podiums and 75 Poles!

Of the total events entered, 875 have been Sports Car; 685 Touring car; 310 Open Wheeler; 109 Stock Car; and 22 Off-Road.

Top 3 drivers (R2P Events raced for Phoenix Racing) are:- Juan Aul - 520; Michael Virt 520, and Andy Graydon 303.

Others stats speak for themselves:- 1,795 screenshots; 121 set-ups in the team garage; 703 Forum topics, and 10,907 posts made.

Top three (current) winning Drivers are Boyd Bryson (18); Brian Fairley (14) and Adam Rouse (11).

We have a great community here, with some fantastic results achieved too. We definitely share a common goal, and that is simply to enjoy our racing whatever the result.
