That's about as happy as I can be given I finished 35 secs off the pace. Lucky to move up from 7th to 4th (Garrett gifted me 4th) and to stay out of trouble.

I love that the smoke and dust just lingers here, it feels like driving through a warzone. I know I posted this before, but its so appropriate given last night's race and how many times I had to drive through a cloud. (this was me from last Tuesday)

I ran last night just to support the team (CanAm) and try to snag the team title.

There was a nice battle amongst our little group the first 1/4 of the race until we all sorted out. From there, Ryan and I ran nose to tail the rest of the way enough to snag the title even though Mark had some troubles and DNF'd.

Everyone did well in traffic last night. Kudos to everyone. My apologies again to Louie for twisting you around when you got caught between Ryan and myself. It was my fault.

Sorry MB for that contact. A train was going by me on the inside part of the track, I did not see you on my side. That and I really muffed my gearing for the track, I couldn't accelerate in 1st.

What a crap race by me, I'm really sorry for getting in anyone's way. Pretty embarrassing race. I got flustered when I joined the session and telemetry told me I wasn't getting full throttle! My G25 pots must be going. So I was pushing it in the race trying to make up for that but it was no use. My crap setup didn't help either. I went the complete wrong way.

===> If any of you know a fix for the pedals so I don't need to get new ones, that would be great. Please PM me. I used to have to take my Logitech Momo Black pedals apart every two weeks or so to clean the pots. I hope I don't need to do that.

All in all, I'm glad I stayed in it, I almost salvaged a top-10...

And congrats to the front of the field, brilliant pace. And good job teamie Mark Carty! You bailed us out.

Had a lot of fun following Rick for the first half. We'd hit traffic, I'd catch up, then he'd pull away again. It kept me focused. Then he the dirt in the lightbulb and I was on the podium. 4 laps later I hit the same spot, but let Rick AND Barry H by. I got shaken out of the "zone" at that point and was pretty sloppy after that. Gotta do better than that. Wasn't quick enough and wasn't smart enough.

Congrats to Maciej, brilliant performance, also to Kane who was flawless, and to my teammate who drive amazingly to earn the last podium spot.

MB was gone something fierce, congrats to him. For me, it was a VERY steady race. So I'm pretty happy with that. My goal was to keep my head and I did, and I got rewarded. I chased Rick for a while at the end, but wasn't fast enough. He left the door open for me at the end and he watched me sail into the gravel, pretty funny. Well played. :)

Good time. Bridgehampton is going to be another "hang on/don't go off for a second" type of race. Prepare to sweat.

Well, I owe Jose an apology for the stack up issue on the first racing lap. Rick really put the binders on hard into Moss A, I got by Jose ok but tapped Rick which kicked my rear end out into Jose and somehow warped him 12 feet off the surface.

Overall, I thought I drove a stinker, but I wasn't the only one. I had two spins and a couple offs thanks to aero push (one with a nice dirttracking recovery) and I could see 3rd place at the end of the race. And my lap consistency was 10th, which is shocking to me.

Again, I apologize to Jose for that dumb contact. Just know it wasn't aggression, I wasn't trying to pass yet. I got caught out with the cold brakes. (I got penalized with damage that knocked 5-6 mph and 1 sec off my pace...rightfully earned.)
