Excellent race. My first time racing these also.
Paul, Doug and I had some pretty good racing for a while. But I think I had my gearing a bit wrong. They'd pull away from me on the up hills and straights, but I'd catch up on the long downhill before the last turn. Then slam on the brakes and hope you make it thru the turn. On one of the laps, I did a 360 on the finish line. Gonna have to record that one.

An absolutely great race. But I have to thank David Nannen for the push. If it hadnt been for your help, I'd never gotten out of that rut. I tried backing down several times to get a run up, but never could. Then you came to help push. That was a race saver. :)
Another thanks to Blanco's setup. That's the old setup we had before. I had changed computers since the old days(year or so ago) and I lost all my setups. But this one was right. I never could catch back up to the front so I just kept by pace or at least tried and waited of others to have their issues. Sure enough, one by one, they started to fall off. Then I'd catch up and pass the one that had gotten by me when I was stuck. But for my age, this was a great practice. I'm supposed to race a 'real' 4 hours endurance off road race in Feb. I wanted to see if I could actually practice, qualify then race for 1 1/2 hours. I made it. Now I need to get into shape a bit more before Feb.
I do wish that someone would build a woods track like this. Deep, forested off road track. Too bad there are no UTV mods. That would be a blast. There's some Kart Cross mods, but no UTV's.

They guy that didnt go at the start was me. My apologies. I'd been having problems out of rfactor since I logged on. When I clicked on to Race, my pedals quit working so I had to log off real quick to reset. When I logged back in, the race had started and Bam, right in the back. Sorry about that.

The race was a pretty good one for me. I didnt think I'd do well at all. Hadnt raced this track in years and this my second time in the 944. But I played it conservatively, let the other do the crashing and rose to 4th. Only to have Sergio bump me from behind on last lap. Broke my rhythm so I let him by without a fuss. I may not be so lenient next time Serg... ;)

But great race guys. Thanks for hosting and looking forward to the next. The Cassonova's always puts on a great race. :)

After first few turns I have been dropped in the back with damaged suspension and body without any fault from my side. Unbeliveble how big mess can be done with only 9 cars on the grid. Probably the most dirty race on R2P for me.

Second race means better pace for me and quite nice racing, with some thrilling momements. I saw a few silly situations with other drivers and this is not something you want to see in simracing. Ian was only driver who was fighting clean.
