Euro FT: Toban

Here are a few items from the R2P Policies for some of you to think about:

Re-joining the track after an off-track excursion
No driver may rejoin the track until all traffic has passed...

General Passing
The responsibility for the decision to pass another car, and to do it safely, rests with the overtaking driver...

Being Lapped
Slower cars are not to move over for faster cars approaching...

Stopping on course
Stopping on course is expressly prohibited...

Sadly, each of these policies were ignored in this event and many people paid the price for someone else's ignoring of the policies. I want to be very clear on this, the ignoring of these policies will NOT be allowed in Race2Play events. You will be asked to leave Race2Play if you choose to violate our policies.

I understand there are one or two people that expect to always be in front, fighting for the win in every event.

But my time and effort are worth _far more_ than the courtesy it was shown today. And this is coming from someone that was running in P5, not a lapper that was driving unpredictably or off-line.

Sounds and looks like I was in good company though.

Another strange race... qualified second after a messy session, but I was never going to beat Wyatt anyway so fair enough.
Got a dream start, and lead the first 2 and a half laps, before Wyatt caught me and ran into the back of me at turn 8, spinning us both off the track. I rejoined right behind the lead group in 4th, and quickly passed Joachim and Joco as each of them made mistakes. I drew alongside Janko going into T1 a few laps later, but he outbroke himself and went off, leaving me with a 2 second lead. I extended that to 6 seconds before spinning off at the chicane (still not sure how... loss of concentration I guess) which reduced the gap to half a second, but I held on and (after squeezing passed 5 or so backmarkers on the last lap) came through for the win.
Not my most glorious win, but hey, cant complain!

yeah, good job i wasnt here to have seen all that carnage, possibly a good thing lol. On lap 1 someone span out infront of me and i had no where to go. Thinking i had damage i pitted in but to my surprise a 100mph t-bone only caused a tiny bit of underseer. So here i was in the pit getting wasting time as there was no fixible damage, exited, lost control because i guess i bent an axle or something and went backwards into the wall. End of race. I dont like rfactor anyway tbh, GTR 2 has taken over rfactor, and real racing has overtaken GTR 2 for me.

Odd race

Qual was bad. Was faster in practice, also there was one turn I didn't "get"(at least Janko says so :P).

The start was awesome. Flied from 6th straight behind Wyatt and Scott. After some laps Janko took my spot. Tried to drive as fast as I could but I still don't get how are some so fast in these... Later Jocaim spinned and I took him but he was faster and got the spot back in the end.

Should do better, but 4th is not bad...

Grats to podium

I'm amazed I managed to finish in 7th. I got onto the server very late and had time for a couple of exploration laps before guessing at a setup. So I was really pleased with 10th on the grid given this.

I was tweaking my setup before the race and took too long, meaning I had to start from the pits. I quickly made up places though thanks to the carnage ahead.

A couple of laps before the end, I was running 6th when my Momo reset its centering mid-corner which meant for the last couple of laps I really struggled, having to hold the wheel at 45-50 degrees down a straight. Only lost one position which was a relief. I shall be using the centering fix from now on.

Was a fun race, i know im not fast in these cars, and i spin way too much... so i took the race easy, made it without a spinn... havent had good laptimes, but it was enought for 2nd place at the end... Had some realy nice fighting all the race so im quite happy with the race. :)

Grats Scott you were too fast for my carefull driving :)

What can one say..

It was a strange one for sure.

Qualy was ok.

As usual, crap start, and quickly lost a couple positions. To keep it short, I sucked. And the second I get the position I felt I could keep, I just spin it and have to start all over again.

BLARGH.

im just very disappointed, i was 5th for Q, had a bad start and lost 3 spots before turn 1. from that point i was running in 7th when someone got into me and put me 2 laps down. just mad when i had a car that posted the 5th fastest lap and i think i could have been in a top 3 position. all i think is just a tough track for these cars.

i dint have a good quali. i crashed after i think sum1 was holdinmg me up and i was faster that him. I think lost y cool and hit the wall

bad formation lap sum1 spun and i bracked had and i was hit and i hit some 1in front (cant rember if this was race or formation havent wacthed repaly) ad then i spun at T2 and i was it and i wrecked sum1 race sorry 4 taht
