Euro FT: Goldenport

interesting race. started 3rd i got punted on lap 3, but then i punted the guy that punted me (on accident) so that kind of evened out. Then i was running in a ok 7th when with 3 laps left i ran out of gas. the game told me i had enough for 18 laps i guess not. coasted into pit lane and got some fuel then ended up 11th. mad at the game more then anything else.

That was just Fantastic.

It didn't start out that way.. I don't know what was up with that 2 wheel stuff, but it got me all unfocused for quali.

Then, 2nd turn I got into Kris Hudson, sorry, but that set up a race that I will never forget. It was just fun, really fun. I counted 10 position changes leading up to the 2nd to last lap pass when I got around Kris for good.
My heart was pounding... I mean... I just don't have the words.

Then, it got better when I saw Brian S. took 4th. Congratulations, man.

Had to pull out of this one because I couldn't get back from work in time. Hope you all had fun!

Great race. My best finish yet. Really didnt race against anyone for most of the time, my focus was just staying on the road and keeping going. Started out 8th, happy to be on all four wheels unlike my teammates.. were gonna have to have a talk with the mechanics, something is awry.
Gained a spot or two at the start, the guys in front of me were fast so i found my spot and just tried to keep up. a couple of guys spun out ahead of me.. had one heart stopping trip through some tire smoke not sure what was on the other side.. and found myself in 4th! new territory.. Now i just had to stick with it and finish it off.. managed to do that.
Congrats to the guys on the podium, and some really impressive fast laps up there in the front Scott well done.

Well that was my first race, quite disappointed as i could've done a lot better.

Had an average start whilst Brian Duray had a bad one and i was all over him for the first couple of laps and looking forward to the battle it looked like we would have for the whole race. Then i accidentally took both of us off. I'd noticed in practise that i was braking later than him into turn 8 so i tried to judge when he'd brake as best i could as not to hit, obviously i didn't judge it well enough and i apologise for that. However on lap 4 at turn 7 (the corner before the back straight) i feel that Duray purposefully hit me, that or he was trying a new and rather interesting line into the corner. I challenge anyone to watch the replay and tell me that it didn't look malicious in any way. I'm not going to moan and moan i'm just disappointed that i haven't received an apology, the accident damaged my car and i'm sure it damaged his as well.

Then it turned from bad to worse, i received a drive through penalty. I span on the kerb of turn 8 and ended up facing the wrong way bang on the racing line. Another car was coming round at racing speed and the only way to avoid an accident was to perform a quick U turn (which i knew was against the rules). I realise the rule is supposed to prevent accidents but in this case i believe performing the U turn itself prevented an accident.

For the rest of the race, having lost my concentration, i toddled around in 12th and 13th until i got a lucky break with people running out of fuel and i ended up 8th.

Never mind at least it was eventful. Looking forward to the race tonight in the Formula BMW's. :)

strange car,strange race :-)not helped by running out of fuel and then eventually deciding to top up only to find i had set fuel to zero{thinking fuel for 19 would be enough,but not sure of tyres lol}i found i could'nt fill up because no buttons assigned,stupid patch ,good pos to dnf,how lucky is that :-)congrats to podium
