Leon Cup R5

Not sure what got into alot of people in this event. People taking each other out at the first chicane on the opening lap of qualifying, people punting others of at the last corrner, there was a guy in the room first name Rony (not even using his real name) that was weaving down the last straight so i couldn't get past. This resulted in me not being able to get a qualifying lap in so i started dead last.

In the race I made my way through the field to 2nd again watching more people Linstruiseur & Edwards coming together at the last corrner. Pleased with the progress I had made because of such crazy driving from others I then settled into my pace only to get punted from Edwards at the first chicane and watch as everyone drives off into the distance.

Sort it out guys the racing looked scrapy and unprofessional last night. Drive to your potential and not the car infronts bumper. Sorry means nothing in the chat when you tear up the inside of someone with no intention of stopping, in fact its a universal word that brings drivers from all countries together in Public rooms.

As mentioned above the were people in the room last night not even using there real names. Im disapointed that they can get into the room ruin the experience for the ones that are there to race and then when the results go up its like they were never there.

Bit of quality and thought in the driving next time please guys.

The above was the reason(s) I did not race this event, I could not be bothered to race as I didn't want the dissapointment of visiting another barrier or gravel trap.

I might be back at the next SRL event depending how I feel.

Its a shame you feel like that but I can totataly understand why you made that descision.

Unfortunately Im affraid that more and more members could take this option which would then mean smaller grids and we don't want that.

ok guillaume I'm sorry about what happened last night. BUT you don't have to complain how I'm a bad driver!

In the Qualifying:

As I start my hotlap, I'm quite some distance away. But when we arrive at the second chicane you made a mistake with as result that you went slightly trough the gravel and you cutted the chicane. Because of this incident I was right at your tail. I guess that you got a warning for cutting the track and if not, that wasn't a hotlap anymore because you went trough the gravel and lost a lot of time. What you should have done there was let me by. I was definitely a lot faster than you in sector 2. But it wasn't enough to get by. As we get to ascari, I'm right at your back. I had the idea: to stay as close as possible to you to pass you on the back straight. But at the exit of ascari I was a little to close and bumped you and I'm sorry for that. As it was Qualifying I wasn't going to wait for you and I thought to concentrate on the rest of the Qualifying. But apparently you still had a (good) drive out ascari. As we where side-by-side at the end of the straight I was hoping that you would let me by. But you didn't. I didn't wan"t to crash my car so I broke a little earlier, what surprised someone behind me who crashed into guillaume.

The race:

As we are in lap 2 or 3 coming up to the second chicane, I get cut of by guillaume and this forced me to cut the chicane. But guillaume also got a stop and go for this. As we enter the pits, he brakes a lot earlier then me and I bump him again (sorry again, But if you had a steering wheel you would be a lot faster, and you would have to brake so early). After a couple of laps I come past the pits and I see that he is disqualified. If you don't know how you have to serve your stop and go, you definatly don't have to call me a noob after Qualifying for and incident that is as much my fault as yours.

Guys I know I had a few grumbles this morning but R2P doesn't like people trading blows in the post race area's

Sorry about the contact Dan I'd actually meant to post earlier but I've been trying to fix my H-pattern which went completely apeshit last night.
Was a rough session started q got punted off sus damage at the 1st chicane, then got kocked off at the 2nd chicane on the 1st lap.
Add in my faulty gear box and I was abit all over the place, my gears kept switching from 6th in the straight into 4th then in the 2nd race switched to 2nd for giggles was a bad night.

Tbf though from watching the replay I'm not sure what else I could have done, I think your being more than abit harsh saying I punted you.
Also I didnt make contact with Linstruiseur I had to drive off track to avoid his car after Matt and him had contact.

Guillaume could we just stop it? And for the next time if you have an issue with me just PM me our write a report and the officials will handle it then. But what I understand about Dan's incident, is that we didn't block him but someone named Ronny.

I'm sorry. It's seems to be that my report is quiet aggressive when you read it. I just tried to explain what I get from my situation with Quillaume.

Is there a way to get the replay of the Qualifying?

The replay of Quali should be saved in your replay folder with in race 07.

If not you can turn it on in the options. I recomend it as they are a great reference tool for contact and watching others and yourselve to see where you can get faster.
