CCBB MotorSports: Rouen-Les-Essarts '70 Formula 3 '08

This series caught my eye when checking the new season menu. Ran some laps and was impressed. Changed a few things with the default set up, and was good to go.

Dropped some fuel for Q and was happy being in the 54's.

Had this been a 49 and a half min race and Mark didn't slam on the brakes to take fuel on the start of the last lap......

Slowed up after Mark pitted, and with about 2 gallons of fuel remaining, I was braking early and downshifting without going any lower than third gear. Had enough fuel to get it home and was cruising to the win when my shoddy at best internet guy pulled the plug before the last turn.......

Had a few laps practice at a different version of the track, oops. Installed the proper one, joined qually and embarrassed my self crashing on the warm up lap.

Got a great start and had good battles with half the group up until I decided to draft Mark Johnston in one of the high speed sweepers and got loose on the curb getting sideways at near full song and then went sailing in the air doing rolls and spins and somehow I land back on my wheels and kept going. It had me laughing pretty hard. After that the cars handling went off pretty bad. Curbs where a pain in the ass too, got stuck on them a few times pushing too hard.

Well.. lmao.. I think who ever was behind me on the starting grid must have been wondering WTH I was doing.. Someway during my setting up changes for my pit stop I decided to do on the grid because I didn't have time to leave and come back, I must have hit the ignition button without realizing it. The light turn green I slap it into gear and punch the gas pedal,,, nothing lol. I was sitting there wondering what??? Tried to put it into gear again and gas it, still nothing. After a quick survey of my gages I noticed I had no idle RPM's. I hit the ignition and start button and vroom I was off.

The rest of the race was going good and happen to have a few spins but no damage.

Cory mentioning about getting stuck is what happens with these cars. During practice earlier it happened to me and it kick in a memory of what happened in this series a few years back. These cars belly out easily and when you get on a track with sand you better prepare to have fun getting out of that too. Keep the cars as high as you can is better :)

well, havent raced in years now... probably total of 4hours of rfactor in 2 years so that kinda sums it up... Brian even
pushed me out of grass once where i got stuck...
