Euro G3: Nurburg

After surviving the Gebei MKIV human divebomb at T1 it was just question of avoiding mistakes and finishing the race. I didn't have speed to challenge anyone in front of me but who cares.

Uneventful, but a good result :)

Qual was so-so. Little slower than in qual but it was 3rd posiion.

Flying start stright to lead. In the first lap I've been leading for 4 seconds. My goal was to drive conservatively and finish. Was alt-tabbed mid race, lost me some time but not enough to lose the lead.

Qualified on pole but discoed in warmup... looks like I probably would have won based on my practice pace... oh well :-(

Not impressed with the rough first lap. A couple of guys needs to remember to give the car alongside you room. Other than that an average race for me. Spun it with 5 mins left to lose 2nd but 3rd good enough.

Approaching first corner my fps baddly dropped to 1 fps, actually its freezes. I find myself after 10 seconds somewhere out in first corner losing all positions, but my fps is back.
then few corners later someone was spunned ahead of me and lot of smoke coused another fps drop for me and now all cars wrapped around again, what a horrible experience.
Don't know is it my PC, my net or bad track conversions but I've first time expirienced that sudden fps drops in any GTR2 race till now?.
My apoliogize guys if someone suffered from that issue.
After first lap my race was a gaining back lose positions that ends on 2nd place when passing John, and finished 5 sec. behind Joco.
Grats Joco you was lucky today, first Scott disco then me with problems :)

Another crappy race for me ... skipping the 1:34's laptimes not improvable ... I was gonna just make a quite race, finish it as honorable as I could. But the same problem intervened - did not see all cars on track. And by the time I saw the two porsche's collided ... hit one of them , rolled over 3-4 times and completely fcuked up the race :(

Same as Milan about t1 lap1.

This track didn't look so well (fps and performance).
Pity, because after t1 i was 15th and had to do some overtakes and take risks, many yellow flags yet especially during 1st lap. I had a very nice setup and the car was real neutral and nimble, and I just used the Brno setup and no practise before at all!

Survived the problems on the first lap and had a good race with Charles. A couple of the Vipers which had problems caught back up and passed easily. Charles and I swapped positions a couple of times and just when he was getting away from me he went wide so that was the end of our little battle. The OverTheHill boys were in my mirrors for most of the race too so that kept the pressure on right to the end.
Well done podium.

Darren, enjoyed the battle while it lasted. I threw 7th away at the end, whilst driving in my mirror.

Fun and frustrating race at the same time. I was catching vipers and bmws in turns but getting smoked on straights. Difficult to pass which tested my (lack of) patience. Good race all.

I've got some complains that I was to agresive :) But I wasn't :). I was just too cautious and because of that make many small mistakes . Was a nice race till next to the last lap, when I realized that I drink too much fuel during the race. So last lap I drove most of the time in neutral .
But the way, at the chicane people cut too often, not whit 2 wheels but whit all 4 ! And isn't fair to not give them at least some warnings like I received on magny, when in first laps I cut whit only 2 wheels the chicanes.
