Euro G3: Zolder

I got a spot-on lap in qual after messing up my first one.

In the race I had a little bit of trouble finding the rhythm but once I did, the gap really opened up. Looks like the next one will be in a Beamer.

Who won? Ari was in this race? There was another car in front of me? :p

I qualied better than expected, got 3th I think, not bad for having about 6 practice laps before quali. I got an ok start, but there was chaos behind me, 3 wide stuff I hear, which kept everyone back. I had some great racing with Agustin in the opening bits, and got by him finally. He was pretty much riding my rear end until he messed up coming out of the little chicane complex. Then Joco was there...and boy was he there. That bimmer is SO loud it makes you think you're about to get eaten, then you look back and you have 10 carlenghts...either way the presence of the constant sound had me on my toes. Some laps he'd catch me, some laps I'd pull out. With about 3 to go, I think he went into fuel-conserve mode and backed way off. I realized I needed to do the same thing if I wanted to finish and did so the next lap, finishing the race with .02 gallons left in the tank. w00t!

Pretty awesome race.

Didn't expect much with this car, also no setup and not much practice before the race, but I was still pretty good before qual.
Qual should be better though, I took wide into kitty litter and so did Tom, nailing me... At first car seemed OK, but I was slower than in practice(and race).

Got a superb start of the race! I thought i'm going to lose a position as there was a more powerful Viper behind me but insted I took Claudiu on the start, and got behind Agustin and Tom. Until lap 7 I was watching them fight, than Agustin spinned off. I was trying to keep sticked behind Tom, but the Porsch was just too fast. Didn't have any good chances, but our pace was pretty much the same. Followed him towards the end of the race, getting a pretty satisfying podium :)

quali was ok though my rears were so hot after outlap already it was hard to control the rear in chicanes.

Start was OK .... i had a good run on Roberto massa but he closed the door into first corner, I slowed down to avoid complication and looks like i made choices of approaching and taking T1 a little tricky..

Got passed roberto out of final corner and managed to pull a nice gap while watching TomO and Joco battle it out after Agustin lost it.

Happy with 4th

Quali was ok, I couldn't do much better in the BMW. Race start was the killer for me, after turn 1 I was facing the wrong way and things didn't get any better. Couldn't catch anyone, any time, anywhere.
Grats to podium finishers. And well done Heinz in 4th salvaging some points for us.

Bad quali and that cost me in the race. Starting from 10th is far from ideal. Was pushed out twice in the first part of the race and was running 13th at some point. Fought my way back to 7th but looking at the fastest laps it should have been much better. Maybe next time. Grats to the guys who made it to the podium.

Joco, you're wrong. He should drive the Elise...:o

Was my first race here, with a few hiccups on the way.

Got booted first for possible cheat ????, but deleted the GTR_XD ini-file and this error did not come back. Got a CTD just before quali, had to reboot and was getting even more nervous for my first race because of that :p

Qualified somewhere in the back.
Start went pretty OK, was a bit too kind but did not cause any accidents, which is goal no.1 ;)

Few laps around 11-12th position, but way too nervous on the controls which resulted in several sandtraps etc., and after 15-20min it looked more wise to come in and do not bother other racers :)

GTR2XD doesn't cause cheat ejections. Sometimes you just get that for no apparent reason, and restarting GTR2 usually cures it.
