Euro EC: Brno

Quali was so-so but my start was great. From 14th to 10th into T1. But then I got spun around and was back in 18th again. Not happy about that at all, but looking at the raceresults, the responsible driver has been penalized for not doing a driverthrough after that. Grats to the guys who made it to the podium.

I tried to stay away from the traffic as much as possible but starting so far back always means a big chance of running into an accident up the front. I ended up going into the kitty litter and ended up 19th. It was fun to climb my way back up a bit and then was rather passive at the back of a 4 way battle until the other 3 dropped off in the last couple of laps.

Grats to podiums, well done Jon, superb lap time.

Really wanted to race, but GTR2 had a problem with my router's firewall that I didn't solve until after the start :(

Sorry George, it was me who spun you at T1. Although there was not much I could do as you came across from the left, I understand that it was an accident that is worth a penalty here at R2P. Lesson learned, I promise to be more cautious in the future. I know that does not help you much, but apologizing is all I can do for now.

This was my first race at R2P (I drove over 100 already at VMS, Comet and MARA Europe) and in the Elise. Apart from the T1 mishap I enjoyed the race a lot. Finishing in 9th (without the penalty) is very satisfying. Looking forward to the next events. Congrats to the podium finishers.

Nice race from start to finish. Held position behind Marko and John but couldn't pass. John eventually overcooked it a bit and I just managed to drive around and avoid him, and then I caught Marko, I had a glimmer of a chance at one point but I was rubbish on the brakes and Marko wasn't really threatened. Close racing all the way through.

i quallied 18th after going out with race fuel which was stupid i know lol/ had a poor start and ended up in 20th before turn one i crawled my way back to 12th which i was buzzed about. finally the last lap came going up the hill carl spun me and i was fumming i ended up finishing in 15th but someone left and now finalished in 14th could have been 11th if it wasnt for the spin

A nice race and win for me. CJ and Marko got past at the start/first lap but after that I knew I had a good enough setup to go past when I wanted. Had some nice side by side moments going past CJ and Marko. After that it was just a matter of getting to the line. Nice racing all.
