Well, guess I'll start.

Congrats to Roberto and Tristan, way to go boyz! : )

As to my race, well...

First, my apologies to my good friend Jim B. for what appeared to be, but in fact was not a dope crazed "dive bomb" move that almost took you out! : (
Jim, The darned car just would not slow down! On watching the replay, my braking point was normal but i think what did me in was I was using a setup I had just gotten from Tristan (a very good one, by the way, with only half a lap with it) that had just a little too much front brake bias. With my left front completely locked, I was pretty much just a passenger totally helpless as to where the car was going to go!
You did a great job of keeping this incident from ending up a total disaster for you! One funny aside, on the next lap on the same corner, it appeared you were not going to take any chances of letting that mad man ruin your day so you went real wide there just in case. LoL

As for the rest of my race, well, I had my most unwelcome acquaintance sitting next to me for the whole rest of the race - Mr. IBS!!!
Ran most of the race feverish, sweating profusely and extremely week with vertigo(dizzy) in the long sweeping turns thrown in for a real challenge in completing the turn!!!
Don't know how many times I just drove off, unable to concentrate, completely missing my braking points.
Don't you wish you were old and could use all kinds of excuses for your terrible results. LoL
I was getting my rolling rank up almost to 5, but with all these terrible finishes, mostly to my unwanted friend, that's going to heck real quick! : (

Well, I'm hoping the next one will be better as I'm anxiously looking forward to some fun laps with Jim and John.

Was doing better than I thought to begin with holding onto the front three guys, then smacked the wall letting Roberto past as I got loose and damaged suspension.

Then became a case of trying to beat Francesco and trying to stay on lead lap.

Managed one of them but still got some work to do with these cars to really get a grip of them.

Grats winners, real endurance these races but glad everyone wants to see them through to the end, we should all get an award I reckon!

I'm very happy to know my setup was comfortable for you, Dan, but I apologise for the brake biasing! I had been experimenting with it for the last few races, and gained about a second per lap in Jiading by adjusting it from 59 to 62% front. Clearly though, in your case, this percentage makes it a bit tricky to pass! I'm sorry for that part of the set catching you out...

Overall this was a pretty good race. Thanks to some useful dev. time, I got my race pace way down on softs, which wore equally front to rear (but the left side more than the right at this track... 8 right turns vs. 5 lefts!)

We've quite a ways to go until the next race, but I say let it continue! It's a challenge in and of itself in driving these ridiculous things, so I've never been concerned about the relatively low turnout.

I try to keep one eye on my mirrors when someone is close & when I saw you disappear, I thought you might be trying for the inside, so I kept it wide.
Heck, I'm still trying to get comfortable with these things myself & have trouble getting in too hot occasionally.

I wasn't expecting a good finish for this race, as I didn't get much practice in, so it came as a surprise to end up third. I guess John must have miscalculated on his fuel & had to pit right at the end...

I'm happy we're continuing the season, even with the low turnout. It gives me a good reason to drag my lazy ass out of bed on Sunday mornings, hehe.

One of the better qualifyings I've had to date. I linked everything together without error and ended up with a time 3 secs faster than the last time I was here. I'd put some time into testing that morning and had a good setup.

I should have left well enough alone, but no. I tried going with med-hards thinking I could get a whole race out of one set of tires. I figured I would only need 2 gallons at my pit and be good to go. Kinda worked. I did make it on the one set of tires, but ended up losing a lot time each lap because of it. The time I made up on not changing tires was lost on lap times.

I'm glad we are continuing. Thank You Tim for asking. Cya all in a month.

PS: Any reason we are skipping a weekend?
