Euro G2: Oschersleben

This must be the 3rd time I got magically slapped from pole/lead to backpack...

qualed great, on pole 1 tenth off record, took no stops almost leading half a minute after first half but than a lagger got in the way with car stucked right infrint of me...booom car totalled, spent more than 2min in pits........

Very frustraitng...

I got my fuel right!

I got my Tyres right!

I got my pit strategy right!

I just need to go quicker now!!

I saw you Joco, I nearly fell foul of the Lagger myself! Shame buddy.

The first part of the race was a nightmare starting with the car in front on the grid getting away slowly and me having to take avoiding measures. Then I went into turn 3 side by side with 1 BMW and didn't know Chris was on his bumper trying to sneak through with him. When I cleared the first one I turned in and bumped Chris, sorry about that Chris, hope I didn't damage you, I just didn't see you there but I should have known you'd be there so apologies. Soon after that I lost it in turn 1, I think because I had suffered some aero damage, and dropped back even further. So I knew I had to try a no stopper to salvage anything from this race. Because of Joco's problems with the static car I got up to 2nd and kept it until Pete and Roberto caught me up with 2 laps to go. I probably didn't defend enough but the tyres were shot and I don't think I could have held on anyway. Then on the last lap Pete went off 3 turns from the end and I went past but once again wasn't quick enough to defend the inside line and Pete had managed to rejoin and shot up the inside under braking into the last turn. So it was 4th afterall, disappointing start so I'm quite happy with the result but it could have been much better without the mistakes and the weak defence.

good race all - i was involved with some thing ... i kept seeing a car ,, directly in front of me [ flashing ]
then bam gone ... few seconds later i let a leader go by ... then WHAM he smacked into some .. thing .. then we all got smashed together ,,, i corrected the car and drove on .. amazed i got through that with no dammage ..

After few laps L.Sultan punted me on last turn, ok, no big problem...but after 2 laps he punted me AGAIN entering T1 making me roll in the sand..not a nice move at all...back to 9th but tyres were fading off, pits stop.
Some good battles and last laps chasing Darren and Pete.
These 2 are great drivers! with those "inferior" cars!! someone should watch replay and learn from THEM.
It was close battle, even too close because on last lap Pete had some wrong lines and when he went back to track i hit him in his right side. Sorry for that! If Darren were not so close I let you pass again, you deserved it.

I should win the title "from dust to podium", it was literally like that...but next time, no sand please, it could have been funnier without...

Roberto don't tell anybody but those 2 are useless really, they use nitro on the straight! ;)

I didn't put much of an effort into qualifying,started dead last.I ran into a laggy car a few laps in and luckily only shook me up a bit.Chose not to change tyres and surprisingly held up quite well.I held up George for a few laps while trying to get past Dolan?Unfortunately i went for a confidence dab on the brakes entering that left sweeper catching George by surprise,really should have let him by earlier with his fresh tyres.

Not a good race by me. Quali should have been a few thents better and I shouldn't have tapped Barry and Kevin in the race. Again ... sorry that happend guys. I was chasing Laki during the first stint who was all over the place trying to defend his position. In the meantime I had Pete breathing down my neck. You were bloody fast in the Mosler Pete. After Laki made a mistake it was time for a tyrechange and I managed to extend my lead to Pete a bit. Then I came up to the guys who didn't changed tyres. The difference in speed was all too clear but it is so hard to overtake on this track. The tangle with Barry cost me a few places back to 10th. Made up again until 6th but then it was race over.

I didnt qual good and was behind Joco. But in race i had better pace then him and overtook him, maybe it was a bit of risky overtake but clean enough i think ;).

Then i opened 14sec gap and pit, Joco didnt pit and was 34sec infront when i was out of pits with new tires...The gap was droping fast and then i see him with broken car :( Sry for that Joco we could have a good fight at end i belive ;)

Then i was 40sec infront of 2nd guy and just slowed down the pace dramaticly and cruised to the finish.

Sry to hear all of u had problems with lagger, i only seen him once and good thing it was on slow part of track.

Tonight was the second night in a row I had an obstacle to get around on green light. Tonight I was unfortunatly just not able to get around Chris H who just did not get away at all. I couldnt see the lights so was looking at motec and when i looked up after pulling away i just had a car not moving. evasive action but just clipped Craig enough to spin him out... who's fault is that?

Lost 3 places and was following Pete for a few laps, was trying hard to find a way past, but pete had it covered until i got it wrong and fell behind. Then I had to deal with Laki, who was all over the place, slow in corners, hard braking, and this was still so early in the race, i ended up making a mistake behind him aswell. Then decided the time was to pit and then had to go off in the pit lane aswell which cost me time..

Came out wondering if it was a mistake to pit, then soon realised everyone was either doing it, or paying a heavy price for not. Kevin Dolan had a fight to the death with me for his spot .. that was a sweet pass!

In the end, a welcomed 5th.. not bad.. congrats to podium finishers
