Euro G2: Donington

Qualified pretty OK. Got a decent start but was a bit too kind and let myself loose some positions after the first few turns, wanted to finish :p
Got behind Darren's Mosler and could pass him after a few laps. Gradually picked up Pete and swapped some positions, I was faster but every single time I passed him (3 times), I lost my position again due to stupid errors. Battled nicely with him for about 7-8 laps but braked waaaay too late at T1 and hit Pete in the back, sorry for that...
Let him in front again but completely lost focus after the incident and got off track, too disappointed to continue.
Great fun but I still lack calm and experience in online racing. Next goal, get rid of the 3/3 DNF's on my sheet :)

This race was anoying for me. Was struggling yesterday to make a decent setup, because the Porka's feedback was poor. Still don't know if the default one is better than the one I made. So quali was going good, qualified as the top Porsche (WOW of two :).And then seeing all those M3 in front...couldn't you limit that??? They are too loud :)
So start of the race was cool, and then......the oversteer came :)
that's why I lit a fire beside the track and wait for the end :)

I did not know what to expect tonight having not done any practice whatsoever.

Joined during practice and made a guess and as set up. I did a few laps then stupidly pressed ESC not thinking that was my session over.

Started 7th but soon moved up to 6th.

The race was very close and lots of action early on.

3rd, 4th and 5th all seemed to fight for space through the chicane which allowed me to get the run. Come the haripin I had to take the inside line losing all momentum and suddenly I had lost my place.

Made it back up and soon was up to 5th.

The time between myself and 3rd and 4th place cars was up and down regularly.

Come the last few laps I was gaining fast but not enough time left. Another 2 laps and I would have closed the gap, but it was not to be.

Good race, nonetheless. Some really fast drivers out there. Well done Marko on the win

Qual was unfortunate. Spun off track while trying to overtake slower car. After that just hit ESC forgetting I'll be unable to go back on track doing so. Still, was satisfied with the lap...

The start was very tight on turn 1, some car behind touched me, was nervous abot that but went well after that. Later on nothing special happened. Marko's lead hit 3 over 3s ahead and after that we had about same laps. Few laps later was closing in and just as I was less than 2 seconds away, a lagged car infront made me fly! Losing 10 seocnds at least...

Got the tire wear warning message 4 times for each tire hehe. Magaed to bring it home without spinning.

Bah I guess I stayed on soft tires, very dumb mistake, so my tires were worn with 30 minutes left :) I should have pit immediately but I stayed out the whole race, eventually I couldn't slow for corners and was doing 1:40 laps!! I fell from 6th to 11th and easily could have been 13th there at the last few corners. Nice try George there in the last few corners, I stayed in the middle and you alomst got around me but...nice try.

Pissed of that I screwed myself with the tire selection but still not a bad race, no spins or major mistakes. Finally ended a nice top 10 streak.... :(

I,m happy with this victory.I was very skeptical about tire wear, and I wasn't sure will my tires blow up , puncture , or stay alive.So the whole race was pretty conservative pace , looking for tires and hoping for best.
Qual was a mess , I stuck in the traffic ,and couldn't run a clean lap.Still later on I managed to make some time and take pole position.

Another tough day out in the Mosler, couldn't get going at my best pace because I was constantly getting mugged by M3s. Got a few taps but nothing too major and at the end I got by Ryan on his ruined tyres to just make it into the top 10. Then I almost threw it away by hitting escape before finishing the last lap, I thought the race was over when I saw the flag on my screen, just a stupid lapse in concentration. Luckily I must have been the last car on the lead lap so I kept my place.

quali .. Had 2 good runs, the first a bad time, the second a spectacular PB and a spot on p3. Was going to try a final effort but there were cars parked all over T1 so lost time finding my way through!

Off the start line i had a good start, but had a small issue with the car not turning when i hit the brakes for T1, so this allowed Sasa through.

From here it became a battle for 3rd between Sasa, myself and Mark. We swapped placed a few times behind Sasa, it was intense bumper to bumper .. Great racing. I manage to get passed Sasa somewhere around the middle of the race, and opened up a slight gap, this is also when Mark fell back, I am not sure why. Brian Kerr was always keeping an eye on things behind our battle, but never had the legs to join in.

Towards the end, I started getting flooded with Tyre worn messages, and Sasa was closing in again.. I was hoping he was as worn out as me, but still the battle continued .. none of us making mistakes, none of us faster than the other. Too scared to make mistakes in fear of wasting the race, but still wanting to fight..

Eventually, on the penultimate lap, my car just didnt bite braking for the chicane, and this allowed sasa to take the 3rd and final podium spot.

Was an excellent race, and i have no issues with 4th.. both well deserved places, and i think neither of us was the looser.

First, my apologies to whoever it was I pushed off in qually entering the main straight (sorry, no name tags, so I don't know who it was). I honestly thought you'd aborted the lap after going wide earlier. Usually when a Beemers that close I can hear it, but not this time. So sorry about that.
Race started cautiously, made up a caouple of spots from off-track M3s, then had a few clear laps to baby the tyres until the recovering Steven caught back up. Had a great fight there for several laps, passing and re-passing, until he gave me a little tap into T1. Fortunately he got me full square on the rear, resulting in a harmless trip through the gravel. Having waited for me to re-take the spot, I was really sorry to see Steven spin off. I was looking forward to a few more laps like that :)
After that, I was able to conserve the tyres a little more, got by Ryan (softs? Jeez, mate) and in the last few laps closed in on Radoslav. Needed at least one more lap, though.
Grats to Marko and to Joco and Sasa for their podiums. So Marko, do we get to see you in a Mosler for the final race? You'll probably kill me, but I'd like the challenge!
With my team-mate unable to connect due to ISP issues, the teams championship is setup for a very close finish :)
