I have to say, I'm getting sick of this series and the way some people in it drive. This is the second race in a row where I got hit because I was slower than the guy behind me, and he didn't want to wait to get by clean. This time, I checked my mirror into the last corner, saw I was clear to turn in, and the next thing I knew I was getting turned around, and then hit, and again, and again. Then a few laps later I got hit again, but I think that was an honest mistake rather than a stupid decision.

I qualified at the front of the slower half of the field, but got an amazing start and was in 6th starting lap 2. Someone spun, and I was running 5th. The guys behind were obviously faster than me, but I wasn't going to just move over. I was keeping a close eye on them, when I got hit, spun many times, got the rear suspension broken, and was in 13th. Got spun again to 16th. I knew I couldn't lose any more time so I didn't pit, which helped because I made up one position...I guess. For the first time ever in this game I got the call "You're tires are corded, drive carefully and come in to the pits for fresh tires". That was with 5 to go. I just really, really wish the drivers that aren't forced to drive a slow would show more patience and respect for those who are. Just because they are slower than you doesn't mean you can go by wherever you want.

Awesome track. Sorry to hear about some drivers' misfortunes. I was lucky enough to run around some real class act drivers. Big ups to Garret for his patience earlier in the race when he was obviously faster than me but waited for me to make a mistake before attempting a pass. It's a real shame he had oil temp issues and had to back off. I guess this was one of those cases where slower but steady ( with a BIG!!! dose of luck! ) was the winning combination.

Whew! Bout time i got a win! I thought it'd be forever before I got another one.

Not sure what the heck was up with this race. My replay shows me doing 23 laps and I ran out of fuel on lap 23 (50mins), yet race was supposed to be 45min?? Huh - really confused?! Did I enter the Bermuda Triangle and re-appear 2 laps in the past??

Tom, I know what you're saying my team mates don't want to run these top 5 penalty series either, so I may have to pass on them in the future also. I never was a big fan of the SCCA weight penalty rules and I'm not a big fan of these either.

I was suprised to get pole for this race. Put in a PB to get it and was extremely excited about the race.

Had a good start and was not threatened in the first corner or pretty much the whole first stint. Scott was doing well to catch me on wearing tyres at the end of stint 1. On lap 11 i got my first warning, and decided to pit on the spot, warning came on second last corner, just in time to dive in.

Came out somewhere around 12th and pushed hard to drive back up the field, was hoping everyone would pit. I saw Scott had and had a 6 second lead to him, but i was in 3rd and had 20 second to catch 2nd place man Mark, and had no idea who was in the lead. I got mark on the penultimate lap and leader was still 16 seconds clear. Was amazed.. Last few corners i had scott on my rear, then he tried a pass .. I wont say anymore.

Well, my race didn't go as I wanted it to, but I had a blast none the less. I was able to qualify 3rd and was hopelessly out numbered by BMW's. I kinda got a lousy start after I failed to slip the clutch enough at the start, but I was able to retain my 3rd spot after a very "busy" turns one, two, and three. The following lap I made it into 2nd, but that was short lived. I had a brain fart going into one of the last turns the following lap and went from 2nd to 12th.

Racing back in that pack was pretty intense. There were about 5 or 6 cars lined up nose to tail. It was the first time I had to drive defensively and protect my position from the guy behind me, while trying to pass the car ahead of me. A mosler and I banged doors a little bit, but thankfully neither one of us lost much time.

My apoloiges to Tom. I was the first car that started the whole chain reaction of him getting slammed. I was making my way through the final turn and saw the BMW start to turn him around, but there was no where for me to go. Chaos behind me insued.

After things settled down, I was able to make my way all the way back to 2nd, but unfortunately I had to pit for tires (I think my spin early on may have forced the issue). Rather than risk a blown tire, I pitted for fresh meats and returned back to the track in 12th. I was able to run down 5 cars in the final 10 minutes to finish 7th
(Hmm...I finished right in the middle of my highest and lowest positions).

I had a blast and am looking forward to Brno.

Mine went basically like this: start line, car in front doesn't go but I and the car behind do. I hit my brakes, bump the car in front and the car behind went spinning off the side somewhere. Lap 1 I make a clean pass on a corner, inside, and a car in front is too slow, I barely bump him but we both kept on, but at the same time I got punted from behind by the car I passed cleanly. After that I was alone the rest of the race.

A learning race for me. I was gearing up for GT-O this saturday. I have no idea why I thought softs would go the race... Tore them up pretty quick. I was having a blast behind Barry and Thurman I think it was, when the tires gave out. I had to pit. Upgraded to mediums front and rear. The car actually handled much better with those tires. Resulting in a new PB. After the pit stop and leaders where heading off into turn one. I let them all clear and settled in behind Carty for the whole second stint until I starting making a few mental errors...

I was the one that hit you in the rear. You left me no where to go after dive bombing into the turn and then braking way after the apex to try avoid that other car. I was slow because i was using caution as it was the first lap of a 45 minute race. With that said sorry the contact spun you. Would have avoided you if i could have.

Kevin, after watching the replay I don't think I dive-bombed you. I was under control, but the car in front of me was slower and I bumped into it, which caused you to hit me. I was on line to exit properly but that other car was in the way.
