UKFormula Euro nGT: Magny-Cours

It went OK until pitstop where I had to wait as my spot was mccleaned for what felt like ages. :)

Decent result with an RS

Qual could be better. I was carrying a -0.3 in last lap but went out of fuel few meters before the line...

Start was very succesful. Passed 2 cars, got beind CJ(love the clutch :P). Mark was behind in the RSR and after some time I couldn't hold him back so he passed me.
After the stop, the race was very uneventful except overtaking some backmarkers.

Grats to podium.

Quite similar to the G2 race yesterday. I missed the first half of qualifying eating dinner, but I only needed two laps to get pole. Again, I just think I'm much better at this track than anywhere else, I'm not usually in the running for pole...
The race start was cool, I didnt get a flyer and Janko was right along side me through Grand Corbe, but I got ahead on the inside at Estoril. From then I stretched my lead to the pitstop, got it to 10 seconds in the end. When I pitted just passed half way, I couldnt work out whether to change to soft-meds or stick with my med-hards. In the end I hesistated and just pressed enter, taking off a slightly scuffed set of med hards and fitting a shiny new pair of med-hards. D'oh!
After all the pitstops shook out, Janko was behind me by about 3.5 seconds. We caught some traffic and I struggled to find my rythmn again, and he closed that to 2.5, but I finally hooked it all up and started pulling away again after we got out of the traffic, extending to about 5 seconds before I think Janko had a spin. I was really in the groove for the last few laps... or so I thought. Had a quick spin coming out of Nurburgring, and J-turned it back in the right direction. Only lost 5 seconds or so, but must have given Sir Finn a bit of a fright! I gave him his lap back as consolation and cruised across the finish line to score TEAM ZACHARY'S HOPE'S FIRST WIN! :D

Sorry for the contact George, but you cut chicane just in front of me 400m earlier and it was last lap on worn tyres for both so i could not have wait the last turn, both are 90° turns so the result have been the same, and as everyone finished the race there was huge server lag on their exit.
Request penalization for me if you feel this.

It was good race till half, then my pit was very slow and i lost the concentration needed to avoid errors.

Happy with the race! All went quite OK considering i got the G25 on table 15mins before official Qual. Just changed some control settings and got into the car....

I made a good start with clutch :P and good pitstop, got very close to Scott, should of been in pits 1 or 2s less, and we would have a great fight. He very fast, so without any of his mistakes i could do nothing... I just cruised around last few laps, not wanting to make a mistake. Maybe i was wrong with tires also HARD-MED and then changed to HARD-MED again (med front)... should have taken softer compound i think....

But anyway happy with result considering all this and grats to Scott,... next time i hope i ll challenge you a bit more ;)

A real bad Result for Mob Racing ... 2 disconnects and my DNF ..

I will never touch the 360 moderna again .. its pathetically krap compared to what the RS's were doing, but i've never liked the porsche much .. Lucky I am out the top 5 now *sigh of relief*

race was ok .. Had Kris Hudson breathing down my neck from lap 5-10 and unlucky for him he got spun out, then 2 corners later i spun out, hit a wall and had to come in for damage. 2 mins in the pitlane .. Thought maybe if i fill up and change tyres i could make it to the end .. fell half a lap short, and the DNF i didnt want, i got anyway :(

You changed 4 tyres too Janko? How the hell did you catch 7 seconds on me in the pits then?!?

And Roberto, just because the last 3 turns of the lap are difficult doesnt give you the right to divebomb George like you did.

It's ok Roberto. But the cut had nothing to do with you spinning me around 3 turns later. We all have our problems with worn tyres at the end of a race and that caused me to miss the chicane. Sorry if that brought you into trouble. But about what happend after that .... I only know what I would have done when I caused you to spin in the last lap.

And thx Scott .... but I can handle it by myself. And grats on the win ... forgot that on the server.

Wow, I only pitted 2 or 3 laps before you and I needed 75L... I must drink fuel like Joco drinks Red Bull :P
