Euro nGT: Estoril

It could have been good but thanks to first lap incident it wasn't. Grats winner and podium finishers!

Despite of said incident OTHR got 2nd in final team points although the risk of losing it was there.

Oh boy... first of all sry to Pete... I was involved in quite some incidents with him, all of them myfoult. :(

I just came to qual no praccy, no nothing... forgot to put the G25 gear attechment on table... which proved not so good in race.... I got 8th start possition but was 6th right away, so had a good start with RS.

Then i was catching Joco and realy didnt want to pressure him to much cos of team championships... and then i decided it would be good if i had that attechment from G25, since i have quite a few commands there... Oh boy trying to put it on table during racing proved crazy... Made 10 or more big mistakes, loosing ground everywhere.

Finaly got it UP went to pit and only fueled... I knew my tires will suck and 20mins to go i got that worning ... :| It was ice from then on. Sry to spin right in front of you Pete (again)...

Well.. then i just drove to finish, and shortsihting like crazy... ending the race with 0.2L of fuel left in car.

This was a mental battle.

Quali was ok, but outpaced by RS's.. knew this wasnt going to be fun.

the start was a little hectic, at T2, i was inside Joco who closed the door on the apex and i could do nothing about it, tapped him and while he was spinning toward me i pushed him back the right way, and let him passed a few moments later, sorry anyway dude .. not all my fault

Then I was nervous with Janko around me, since reading his update i know why now... Janko had a big off into the kitty and almost t-boned me coming back on.. I was almost VERY angry! but otherwise had some decent action.

Decided to come in a lap early, and for a moment after things were sorting out, i wondered if i could make it stick being ahead of Joco, Claus and Pete... but eventually all were back passed me before the end of the race.

Awesome. The race would hardly be any better.

Got a very good first flyer in qualify and I couldn't improve it after. Was really happy to get such a close timing to CJ. I guess I'm getting beter at this :p

Made a little mistake in the first corner because of cold tires and brakes which meant Heinz got real close to my back and bumped me a little and I was overtaken, but he decided to let me back on the 3rd. That was a good gesture by you.
After that was a bit lonlier and after 5, 6 laps or so Janko was hunting me with his soft front tires. He did bump me a bit but nothing serious really.
The stop was pretty good, I did however overtake all the RS Porsches but CJ changed his tires as well so I guess he was running with soft fronts, which meant I couldn't stand a chance with old meds. Managed to keep good consistency, there was one mistake I made where I thought I was going to spin in the kitty litter but I was lucky enough not to.
After that Pete, who also changed tires(damn, my strategies suck lol) was closing lap by lap and in the end you can see the result on the picture.

An awesome race as I said. Super racing weekend so far, as the advertisment in the 2nd screenshot says hehe :)

Was on different class here(faster car) so it was a easy race , since Claus,Joco,Janko and others were in RS.
Qual went ok.
For the race I chosed wrong tactics with no tire change , so it was sleepy and slow in second stint.

Grats Claus for winning championship , and as I can see identical in points Joco and Janko, sharing 2 and 3 place:)

I had to hold off Charles for the entire first stint but it was strange because every time I thought he had the opportunity to make a move he seemed to back off. I was confused but happy to hang on to the position, I knew I couldn't re-pass him if he got in front of me. I didn't change tyres on my stop so I got a big gap on the competition which came down alot in the final laps but not enough. Infact I was reeling Janko in very quickly at the end but I ran out of laps.
A great series and big congratulations to Claus for winning what has to be this season's toughest championship. Very close finishing positions in the standings.

I took tires... Why? I dunno. 15-20 seconds that cost me at least 1, perhaps 2 spots.

Other than that bonehead move, I enjoyed the first stint following Darren. Yes, I had several opportunities to pass you, but I felt more comfortable with your pace. Was fun.

Didn't have the best of starts, thought I had too much wheelspin so I lifted a tad and immediately bogged down abit when really I should've just kept it planted and let the heavyass car do what it does best.
Luckily Joco had an average start too and with his help Heinz who had a better start than us got boxed in so I managed to keep position into T1.
Then saw some commotion behind into T3 and that gave comfort gap so I could focus more on the track ahead. Eventually build up a good gap to the group behind and pitted a lap from midway point. Marko was long gone putting a second on his lead on average each lap.
I changed to 4 new medium slicks and that got me out strait into the gaggle of adventurous drivers that didn't change, so had to deal with some of them before I got back in P2, but atleast that provided some action, otherwise it would've been a pretty lonely race for a whole hour
