Boy o boy! Well done Samuel on taking the Drivers..

I got the biggest scare when Garret took the lead at the end, because i knew he was the only person who cold hunt me down in the drivers and steal 3rd if i was not careful. ANd i think 1 more place back would have sealed the deal for Garret. I am so lucky Mark Carty got it wrong somewhere and I was able to jump up a spot.

I was almost sh*t out of luck on the first lap when Jeff got into Mark on T3 and thus pushed me wide and to a virtual stop to correct myself, this allowed 3 cars to get passed, Dennis, Daniel and Don. Don was the biggest threat to my race because he was such a difficult person so pass, and he made it REALLY hard for me.. and while i was screaming and shouting about my misfortune, 5 laps later when i got passed Daniel and Don, Dennis was 7 seconds up the road ... I though DANG IT.. this is the end of my defence.

I pushed so hard, and the car was feeling SOO good, at pitstops i thought the only way ill get a jump on dennis is if he doesnt put fresh rubber on, and he didnt! i was pulling him in and grinding my teeth, but 3 laps to go i started making horrible mistakes .. even putting the car in reverse in the chicane (horrible mis-shift)... Lucky the gods were with me and had me finish the race in the right spot.

Fun race.

I had to pit early when my daughter woke up crying. She started up again later and I had to quit all together. Tough racing with a little one around.

Oh well maybe next time.

Thanks for the season all , always fun to drive these nGT cars. Wish i could say i'd earned the championship , but truth is that Kent was clearly faster than me and without other commitments he would have prolly taken the tittle easily...glad to take one for the team thou and proud to get the Ferrari on the top spot... :D.

My race was going pretty well ,after getting the pole in qualifying i had the inside line but once again too much wheel spin and i lost the lead in T1 . Took a bit too careful entry and Garret went around from the outside , after that it was looking like he would run away but then after 10-15 laps i could catch him again.

I had medium tires and 100L fuel so plan was to go 23 laps and then 60L fuel and back to track without tire change. When Garret came in around half way point , we were nose to tail and my car still felt really good so the strategy felt fine at that point.

Then came the 23th lap and i went in , since i had the 1st pitbox in the paddock it was just after the small ramp so i thought i turn off the car and roll to the pitbox , saving some time there in the process... however i manged to double shift down to reverse and stalled the car LOL. To make it a perfect double F***UP , i restarted the car with the 1st gear in and my foot on the BRAKE pedal ;| ;P .

Well , when i finally got into my pitbox it all went well and i was out in 26 seconds.Unfortunately Garret was only 6 seconds away and not the expected 16 seconds. With fresh tires he caught me pretty fast and went around me on T1 again on the same place as before ;). To my surprise i could stay close to him the rest few laps but couldn't challenge him anymore. 2nd place this time , but i felt i got it in the bag already so it's a bit of a disappointment.

Well done Garret , not taking anything away from you...you did what needed to be done , i did something else ;D LOL .

Congratulations to Garret for the race win and the rest of the podium , cheers to Kent for a 2nd in championship as well as Heinz for the 3rd place in final standings.

Hard to say yet if we see here in next season , but thanks all for the fun and for the clean driving.

Dang, wish I could have made this event -- but I figured Vista and this track just don't get along and I didn't want to get another DNF because of a PC lockup mid race (like I did last night).

Congrats to champs and podium.

I slept through the alarm and woke up when the race was halfway. Sorry I missed the last one. Grats to Garret on the win and to Samuel on winning the driverschampionship.

Had a blast, especially since these were the first laps tonight in this car and track in GTR2 :O
