Brands Hatch Challenge

Congrats to podium.

That was a really fun race. I needed that after my last couple of races. I love driving the H6's even though I ain't fast in them.

Qual: Was ok I guess. Qualed 13th. Good for me.

Race: The start was a little hairy but stuck to it and came out pretty good. After a couple of laps I was all by my lonesome. For about 80% of the race I had no one around me. Car in front was atleast 10 secs ahead and car behind was at least 15 secs behind. Didn't really make many mistakes. I only ran off track two or three times. I picked up several positions as cars where crashing out. Came up on Ryan Ansoon within the last lap and passed him pretty easy for a 7th place finish in class.

I got a good start and had the inside for T2 but didn't warm up brakes too good on formation and shot into the gravel.

After that i was behind all the GP1's i think, made my way though the pack nicely, must say sorry to a few people for bumping them a bit :(

Came up on 2nd and passed him but he must have missed his braking point and bumped me in T1 and i lost my rear wing :(

Rest of race was tough with trying to keep the car from spinning through the fast turns, lucky it was my team mate in 1st and he let me win as i was better positioned in the drivers championship.

So far two races and two wins in this championship :D

I Q'd terrible no practice and my setup from last season didn't treat me kindly! So in the warmup I found a better set and it turned out great.

Got a great start passing 4-5 of the zr1 cars in the first 2 corners! Held on chasing 4-5 for most of the race. I went for a pass on MBush on the second to last lap but I locked it up and slid into the grass like a total nerd!! Been a while since I have done that :(

So I screwed myself and limped home with the left front flat.

Great to see a good turnout for this mixed class H6/ZR racing, I too will be back. This Brands track really should be avoided as always there's some victims of the QUICK SAND. I was running mid pack in H6 and had a minor off that just brought my race to a HALT and it really should not have. COuld not budge from the stuff. This was 2nd lap so quite disappointing, normally could rejoined and battled to the end.

Me and simon had been running fast times here through out practice. When it came to quali i had a few problems, managed to get caught up with slower cars on my first 2 runs. Managed to get across the line just in time to start a lap and got my self on pole.
The race was good, not much of a problem with tyres and after simons mistake at T2 i managed to build up a big lead. When i saw that my teammate had got back up to second i started to coast it home and let him take the points.
