Apparently the pitlane speed was enforced as I got black flag?

Fuelling didn't start even though I had killed the engine. Guy keeps repeating about shut the engine even if it was not running. Simple pitstop took 80 seconds and speeding on top of that so I decided to quit. Day and a half of testing down the drain. I think I've seen enough of GTR2 for a long time.

but not so bad for my first race with a GT car , little-bit slower , bat no mistakes ...

Start was hectic. I was ahead of David Pike, and braking for first chicane was messed up. I saw Marc tapping brakes so I started braking. In a moment Dave in Vette storms past me but we entered chicane together. I was watching him on the right and missed the apex, went on grass, steered left but car had slight understeer and went back on track. At that point I pushed David into fence. I'm really sorry David. :(

Race was OK, considering I only had about 10 laps practice day before.

Coming out of 2nd pitstop DBoyd was about 45 s ahead so I took it easy from that point, since I had safe 2nd place.

Did 2 stupid mistakes during race going into gravel, fortunately not at high speed.

I make a mistake entering the bus stop going to fast, the problem was that the engine did not want to start, I could not turn it on again. What is the right procedure to do it ? I have Ignition on the 'I' key and Starter on 'S' key, had the car on neutral, nothing happened.

I had great expectations for this race, had a good car and was keeping easy at the start to save tires.

No worries Enis, I tried backing off as I saw you didn't quite make the turn, but I could not get out of the way in time. Chalk it up to a racing incident, I should not have tried to take the position from you at the turn :(

My race was blown from the start, I was watching the countdown when suddenly it jumped from 1min to 0 secs and i could not see the lights properly, I saw the leader make some tyre smoke so I dropped the clutch and earned myself a stop / go (black flag) I stopped and waited for everyone else to start rolling but lost out huge while i was cursing my jump start :(

Sorry for disconnecting, but my unfortunate o"fence" caused quite significant damage and i doubt i would have made it back to pits in 1 piece, disappointing as i felt i had a shot at a podium here in the vette, could run solid mid/low 2m12's for all 11 laps of each stint in the vette.

I apologize if i caused any hassles, i waited till all cars were clear of me before i disconnected.

wow, everything pretty much went my way today, surpised by a pole and then just ran a clean smooth race. I knew if I was even close to the top pace I could take it since I was able to 2 pit in the 575 if I was carefull. Could still run low 11's easy enough even being carefull on fuel so it went rather well. Ari got ahead of me after my 1st pit but I figued it was due to his shorter 3 pit vs my 2 pits and when I started to take time out of him on top of it I was pretty confident. I guess it was Enis in the Lister that ended up 2 stopping with me and chasing me most of the race and it seemed easy enough to keep the gap. Felt good to run a clean race only had a minor bobble or 2 that cost me maybe a second each, once when trying to turn on my lights :P

Fernando, sometimes if you have a smack with the wall it will not restart. Other times if you just stall, you usually only have to hit the starter button, but you must be in Nuetral or hold the clutch on. If you use GTR_PD ou can see if Ign (contact) and/or Engine are on, this can help.

I did not hit a thing of the track, I was in neutral, but I did not have the clutch pressed, so probably that can be the guilty point.

Screwed the standing start yet again! Didn't quite know what to expect, so when Kent shot off, I hit the gas. I quickly realised my mistake & stopped right behind Darin, but too late - black flag already shown! Dammit, I already had to do three stops with the ultra-thirsty Lambo, now it was four!
That little cock-up pretty much screwed my race, but the fight back to 5th was fun. Bagged fastest lap in the closing stages, which was some consolation, whilst trying to close down Marc, but came up a lap or two short.
Grats, Darin, gawd knows how you got that 575 through on two stops!

I didn't have a clue as to what was happening at the start.
I'll use the excuse that I only had 2.5 hrs sleep before the race. When everyone took off, I thought it was the formation lap. LOL!!! I kept wondering why you guys were going so fast and wrecking all over the place before the race started. I know I'm slow, but this was too much. I can't even keep up with these guys on the formation lap. :- )

Finally figured we were racing all along when I slowed to line up for the start and nobody was there... What do you expect from an old geezer with increasing memory loss.

Well, I had the most fun this run anyway. I knew I would do much better with GTR2. I was only 1 lap down at the finish.:- )

Oh, Johan, I don't think you hit me. When I let you by on the "formation lap", I was just letting you get back in your qual spot. I would probably have put up a little more effort to stay in front of you (lol) if I had been aware of what was going on. Hang in there Finn, I expect to see you coming up on me in my rear view mirror in S4. :- )

I gave the Wieth F550 a try to see just how bad it is in GTR2. It felt quite much like in GTR, really.

At the start I was seeing prompts suggesting that we were in recon but I was little suspicious of that so I kept ready, then suddenly I saw 'Grid full. Race starting'. This reminded me of a bug I had seen in a few public races as well. I assume that the procedure was a normal "2 minutes to get to the grid but the race starts if everyone is ready". Did anyone else see misleading prompts at the top?

I got a nice start, through the middle into second place at Eau Rouge. I wasn't able to catch Darin, instead he started to pull away slowly but surely. I was forced to do three stops so I decided to double stint my tires, meaning just one tire change at halfway. It worked fine but being able to make one stop less in a shortish race is a major advantage, and it's much enhanced at Spa because of its looong pitlane. Actually I didn't think that making two stops is possible with any car but then my usual style isn't very fuel efficient.

On another note, shouldn't Kent be in the results even though he got disqualified (for jumping the start, I figure)?
