Colin McRae Memorial #1

Was a lot of fun guys, thanks for two great races!

My first Rhez races and they were a lot of fun! I didnt put in too much practice and it showed in race 1, I qualified and finished 3rd, but never really had the pace to get near the top 2. My setup pushed like crazy and lacked straight line speed, but it was still fun battling away, although 3rd place became quite lonely once I lost 2nd.

Race 2 was much better, I qualified with almost exactley the same time but got 2nd, then Wyatt sent everyone his setup. I hadnt tried it, but I thought what the hell and ran it in the race. That immediatley knocked 1 second off my times!!! I got a great start and beat Wyatt to T1 and lead him for a couple of laps, but eventually I cooked the fronts and Wyatt got through, and I just couldnt quite keep with him on the unfamiliar setup. Then I almost ran out of fuel, so had to conserve at the end.

A fun couple of races, and while there is no way to say goodbye to such a legend, I feel today was fitting...

race 1 brake failure. Race 2 engine blew up on last corner of last lap. Was great fun battling though! sorry for nearly spinning you massa, i let you back past on the straight to make up for it :-)

I couldn't race, becose for 1st-time-guy-on-r2p (like me)it's not clear to use SPEC Rhez, not simple Rhez'05. I think it should be written in events table, not Rhez'05, but Spec Rhez, so everybody will see it and will think "what is it "spec"? i have to read it!".

Edit my TM - Sorry for the confusion Oleg. For future reference, always refer to the Series page for any specific information regarding car or race restrictions. In this case, it is mentioned on the Spec Rhez Series page.

Good fun but lost it under braking and bent the front, ending my race effectively, shame the game crashed as I swapped between it and the football scores before the second race, especially as I had tweaked the car and got a better setup although nowhere near the fast guys.

I had the most fun time racing for 2nd. 4 guys bumper to bumper. Started 2nd and lost a position right at the start. Then I tried to pass for 2nd and ended up going back to 4th. Fast foward a few laps and the 2nd and 3rd get side by side and I get the great run and get both. Tough to pass but what a blast. What a great memorial race it was.

Got 8th in qualify which was a bit dissapointing but got a pretty decent start. Dmitry spun off, and gave me the position. Somebody made a vertical flip on the chicane, that was funny lol. Dmitry was soon behind me, with less downforce he was quite faster on straights so I had to get enough speed on other parts of the track to prevent him from passing. He had a chance though but I managed to block him :P
