I am an idiot, I AGAIN totally missed my brake marker and completely took out Barry Hedrick.....Barry what can I say:(

As for the rest of my race it was going as planned until I caught the G2 leader, we some contact and I got the worst of it. Stuck in the sand and losing 2nd place after having an 8 second gap and falling to 8 seonds behind.

As if things weren't bad enough my crew let me down when I stopped and I had to do a slow lap around to get back to my stall.

After the stops and driving way to aggressively I made the mistake taking out Barry and thats when I hit ESC fuck it.

I'm taking disco lessons now.

Dropped at the end of lap 49 while battling with Fish and GP.

Qual: reasonable.

Race: computer lock-up on the first race lap. It may have been at an apex, I hope it didn't hurt anyone. It's a shame because I think I had a good chance of keeping up with the leaders.

I really need to figure out what the problem is, and with these lock-ups being so infrequent, it's kind of tough.

That was interesting race. I don't know if I could suck more even if I tried. But hey - no disco. :)

Well what can I say. Never had a good run here and it's far from one of my favorites. With 2 minutes to go, my PC decided to lock up again. GRRRRRRR!

Nuff said.

Qualifying:
Not bad.

Race:
Race was as expected f*cking frustrating. Spinning 4 times because of small mistakes is no fun, but what is even less fun is getting 2 stop&go penalties because of badly programmed f*cking cutting rules.

I had a good first stint however.

Congrats to whomever had won and podium finishers.

The underdog Vettes of SoCal both finished. What can ya complain aboot that?

Awfully sorry bout that tap in the slow dogleg, Finn. I thought I had you passed and I still managed to run out of talent and pop your RR.

Make the noodle extra firm when you lash me with it.

Qual: Awful. Had a monster headache and only got two clean laps. At least a second in it. Oh well.
Race: Started crap. 35 degrees in Germany in mid November? F*ck that. Screwed my two stop strategy, so I ended up being slower on soft/med than Janko on his one stop hards. I had one incident where he warped back into me braking for the hairpin, which caused me to bounce off his ghost car and straight into his real car! Luckily it didnt mess him up, but it sure screwed me, then Kent passed me after that, which made it worse. After Kent fell back, I was about 10 seconds behind Janko when I pitted. The temperature must have droped a LOT, because after my pit my tyres were keeping reasonable temperature, and my oil temp had gone from 109 down to 95. After that I was over a second a lap quicker and was able to haul Janko in, but just not quite quick enough. Ended up 20 seconds behind or something, having lost a good 40 seconds in the first stint.
Apologies to Garry Hedrick, on the last lap Scott N made a mistake in T1 and I got caught in your battle (you guys were a lap bahind me). I couldn't help passing Scott, and I had the speed to draw up alongside you too, and given the choice of backing off and slowing Scott, or passing you and letting the two of you battle out the last lap, I took the latter option. Unfortunatley you drove into the side of me and DNF'd :-( In hindsight I probably should have got way offline and let you both through but... well... thats racing :-(
Well, championship is practically over for me. I might have to skip Zhuhai to do the Bullrun 1000 as well. So cya.

Finish positions of races so far: 8, 6, 4, and today 2nd!

Qual was awesome. Expected some hot ambience but it was even a little colder than in practice so I quickly switched setups. Got a lap record in the end :)

Start was fine, with me slowly distancing from Claus. I thought he would start attacking but in the whole first stint I was safely on the lead. There was a train of Beemers later on and I lost some time, with Claus coming pretty close up to me. Still, I was leading all until the 1st stop.

The pit spot was taken by another GT car, which meant I lost 12 seconds juding by the lap times... When I called for pit, there was no resposne. I thought what the heck and pitted, which costed me the lead... Thinking I wouldn't even get a podium, Pete and Krue had a little incident which was just enough to pass them both.

Second stop, this time succesful. Pitted a bit earlier than I first planned, and noticed that Pete and CJ were in stops in the same time. Managed to keep Pete behind, I knew 2nd position is mine! Cut the CJ gap abit but it ofcourse wasn't enough...

Great result for me, but knowing I could have won is a real suck...

Hopefully I will be in advantage on Zhuhai with more HP and less tire wear. Really looking forward!
