Blown motor on the restart around Lap 28 or 29, but by the way the race was progressing under yellow I think of it more as a mercy killing.

With so many yellows early in the race it was really hard to get a feel for the track. I suspected that we may get some long green runs late so I had made several pit adjustments to try to get some better tire life. We added track bar and took out wedge. We were a bit free early but not bad. We were very good on a long run; not as good as Bob; but very good. What we hoped for was a long green at the end. We didn't have anything for Bob but felt we had a good chance at second until the last yellow with under ten to go. Bob and I were sitting ducks. I decided to do whatever he did. He stayed out and so did I but everyone behind us went in. Our goose was cooked for sure. On another note our apology to John. On a green pit cycle I put up a late pit warning causing John to check up hard putting him into the wall. Took the front and rear clips off his car.

as for myself, really sorry for causing yall to suffer through an extra yellow.. my set was wicked fast but i couldnt hang on to it in traffic.. got loose off turn2 and corrected head on into the wall.. just glad no one else got caught up in it.

Good and bad night for the #1 Chevrolet. Didn't qualify as well as I could have, but still not bad. No matter....I was up front within a few laps. I was able to stay within the top 3 through all the early yellows, and even led a lot. My car felt a lot better out front....was a little tight if was right behind someone. My apologies to Mike in the #59....in trying to get back out front on a restart, I slid up into him going in to turn 1, causing him to spin (I don't think he was too happy with me). Anyway, I guess my payback was losing 4th gear on a restart just before halfway (while I was leading!). Oh well, that's racin'. I'll bring my best next week in Atlanta.

Long night for the #30 started mid pack, 12th,but knew it would be a long race so wasn't too worried. Through yellows and such was able to get up towards the front and stay there, though on the 14th yellow, (yes, 14th) I got caught speeding in the pits.........EOLL....In my hurry to get back up to the front I pushed up into the #73 of Bob Fike, sorry Bob, and then brushed fenders with a teammate that sent me into the wall in T1 on the last lap........crossed the finish line smoking pretty bad.........Wild, last 5 laps! Nice win Mike, lot of patience shown last night to get back to the front.

tough race out there, but very fun. almost punted bill, infact hit him, near lap 34. sorry bud. went all the way to the back and raced there for most of the race. the car only really came to life on the only long run of the night. we raced from 12th to 5th, not too bad. took 2 tires on the last stop trying to make something happen, but only paid the price, but got a solid finish. great win mike. the last restart/last 5 laps was awesome, great racing. thanks guys, see ya at atlanta.

First thing's first. What a awesome job Mike. I saw some great move's you made out there that just prove's how good you are. Next, to one of my teammate's who I ran off the track on the last lap, sorry about that. Got sent to the nascar trailor after the race for that. This was a long race with plenty of cautions and alot of playing dodge ball. I didn't get the seat time this week with my team so being the rookie that I'am I started in the back and stayed there all race long until 30 to go and then I thought I would put everything I had into it. I caught some good drafting help and made my way up to a top 5. With 5 to go I finally saw what the leader's looked like.lol. We had a good turn out tonight and some guys had some bad luck but all in all it was a fun race to be apart of. I hope we keep getting good turn out's like this one. Lot's of really good talent out there which really make's it fun.
