South Carolina 150

I had a blast while it lasted, Coming into my first race on an oval all I heard was everybody is patient and courteous, this I found out was not the case, there was much un-sportsmanship shown during the race by a few drivers, Every time I had a blue flag i made it relatively easy for the pass unlike other drivers out there.

I would like to thank Tim for doing an outstanding Job on stewarding the event that went from just another race to bedlam in a heartbeat WTG! Guys without him this series would be another demolition derby, I mean really cherish the job he is doing for you!

I am a bit disappointed as I cherish my Low DNF's which took a hit tonight because of driver impatience.

OTOH, I made some great passes ran as high as P9 and escaped competitors accidents quite a few times while being put thru the spin cycle 3 times :(

I hear ya Jeff!.... I had a nice car setup, but I was punted early by a fellow driver....I'm upset and at the same time I feel bad....I was trying to gain laps on slower cars, (the ones that I lost), but it was hard to pass, let alone "Blocking" was very bad....When I had blue flags I was moving wide to let faster drivers pass, but this is a difficult series to make passes...I really was confused at the beginning when I got the "Stop & Go" and I slowed down to go in, and just when I pitted the penalty was removed...lol....That was the beginning of the series of issues I had in this track... Connor was fast and knows how to pass, but some were a little aggressive, including me trying to gain my laps back, but I see I had no choice!...

Sorry for the person that hit me while I was trying to turn around after I was clipped in the rear while making a pass...I thought I was clear, but the yellow flag blocked my view from the top of the screen, which was right in front of the straight fast line...

Well that was entertaining. I have come to the conclusion that rFactor and GTR2 just does not like me anymore. My computer crashed with about 10 laps to go. Sorry it my car got in anyones way. Oh about TeamSpeak, I was on there for the first time during a race and actually had fun listening to you guys. Sorry yall could not hear me. I had my mic on and everything but just could not get it to work for some reason. I will have to figure out what is going on with it.

Qual: Had what I thought was going to be a decent qual setup but got out there and almost lost it on the first lap and could never recover.

Race: Me and the wall got to know each other very well tonight. I could not stay off the wall. I tried my best to stay out of everyones way and I hope I did. I know I caused a couple of people to spin and I am truly sorry. I got a little to close to the wall and then bounced off of it. Again sorry to anyone that I got in the way of.

I am extremely surprised with this finish. I started 10th and finished 3rd. This was the opposite kind of race than I was expecting with just a few cautions. I was gambled with making just two stops and it paid off. Another great run for Team Crash Test Dummies!

There are a few people not on TeamSpeak that aren't aware of some of the things that are going on. It really is important that if you are not on, to please try to. This really does make such a huge difference in your driving experience.

I really do feel bad about the contact Omar. When I came up on you, it seemed that you had dramatically slowed down and I had nowhere to go. I didn't know if you were on TS, but I did apologize at the moment it happened. In case you weren't, I apologize.

Yeeesh that was a wild race. I love Darlington but damn this version is flawed :(. Nonetheless, when we got to racing, it was a blast. My car was just on rails and felt great until the tires wore out.

I totally based my pit strategy on tires instead of fuel this time because the tires would be worn out by 45 laps and my tank could go to 50. Only had to use that strategy once and that was in the first stint where I short pitted. Once the cautions started coming out, my strategy started changing and almost screwed myself with roughly 60 laps to go. Around that time, we got a caution and I had pitted only 10 laps before so I had fairly new tires. However, I knew I couldn't make it on fuel so I stayed out. Tom, the only other one on the lead lap, went in and got fresh ones and a full tank so I thought I was a sitting duck, thinking that he could actually make it on fuel. So when we went green, he stuck with me despite me running my ass off to get away from him. Eventually, I lengthen the distance and was soon thinking about pitting again. With about 20 laps or so to go, I went in for a stop. Tom went by and soon lapped me as well. It was clear he was trying to go all the way so I hustled. I quickly got by him to get my lap back and about 10 laps later (about 5 laps left), I passed him again to take the lead. So it was pretty close and almost screwed up big if I had done something differently.

Anyway, it was a good race for me...too bad to see so many get caught up on the first caution a lap down :(

I have just retired from 3 series here at R2P...This is a bad start for this season in those series...I'm just going to stick with Champcars and the CanAms, I seriously can't take anymore DNF's or bad results due to "punts" - /o\, lol...This has nothing to do with this incident or the drivers involved in those incidents in other series, is just that I had enough and I stopped having fun...

I see what the PLMS series brings me tomorrow, if it goes bad, I'll retire too... :)

I have to admit that if I'm not competitive in those series is the best for the team and myself to retire... ;) I really thought I had a nice run today, but unfortunately it didn't happen... :(

I'm glad my teammate Tom Malanga was able to bring a Toip3 with the same set I gave him and the same I used... ;)

I never thought i would have got to P2..Conor I knew you where so much more stable then me so i did not want to pass you there at the end. My only hope was to try and take you on a fuel run.So when you pitted and the passed me again ,I though the only way I could pull off a win, i did not deserve was to try and get you on fuel.I drove 1/2 gas on the last 7 or so laps.But i knew with 5 to go that I was going to be short!!...1 lap.RRRRRRRR.Pited with 2 to go and spun.Was still able to take a 2nd.Iam very happy with that!!!Conor you a great competer.I love the challange.Soon I hope to make it harder for you to keep winning..NICE JOB BY ALL!!!!!

I was, and it has nothing to do with TS, that was great tool when Tim sorted things out, again kudos to tim, but drivers doing bonehead moves...Its just not smart and as omar commented...its not fun getting taken out, and if the frustration keeps mounting that will only make you a more defensive driver creating the incidents your exactly trying to avoid. Heck we all make mistakes..but a little thinking goes a long way.

Good finish for CTD Tom Moseley. We did pretty good tonight I`d say. I plowed Omar pretty good after he hit the wall and shot into my path. Sorry about that Omar, I tried to miss you.I hope you decide to keep racing with us. It seemed like this track had a few glitches when it came to cautions and I am pretty sure it affected the outcome of the race. In the end, fourth place wasn`t so bad. Good win Conor.Thanks again to all my teammates who help me so much with setups.
