Having a bad weekend with this pc locked up in G2 race locked up today at the 350k race now i lost my connection tonight in tpscc was fun while it lasted i hope the rest of the race went as well as the first half did. Cya next time ..

Qualy went okay, could have squeezed a couple more tenths but it wouldn't have helped much as the field was very quick.

Race started off hectic, I was a bit aggressive at the start and worked my way up to 4th, then the dodge valient/cooper tires/bose/LMTC Motorsport/B&M shifter had an issue, the spark plug fouled and spit a chuck of porcelain into my Hooker Header which made the engine sputter for a split second, this upset the balance to the rear stabilizer bar and I tapped the wall, fell back to 8th. I had some great battles with Bob Fay, Francesco, greg and the likes of this entire field. The middle sector of the race went un-eventful until it was time for the final green flag pit stop, I set my parameters 5 laps b/4 my scheduled pit, turned the damage off and requested fuel and tires. I hit the lollipop and I get full service, not full service, if that was the case it would have a happy ending, but they opted to fix damage that couldn't be fixed, I am yelling at my crew chief what part of DO NOT FIX DAMAGE don't you understand, he apologized and offered me a test drive in the Sebastien Bordais ChampCar Panoz/Cosworth, I accepted his apology and kissed him on the cheek and said...you can screw up anytime as long as you continually pull out that Panoz:)

Phew! Well, with this being one of my favorite tracks and after having that problem last night, I really wanted this win. So to get it by lapping the field with an absolutely hooked up car with no flaws really made me quite pleased. And to go through green flag stops for the first time without being forced to (remember Darlington?), that just showed that we are all gelling together and making less mistakes which makes it a much enjoyable experience. I always look forward to these races because you guys make it clean and hopefully it continues like that :)

I believe that was the best TPSCC race of which I've been a part. Everybody showed great patience and car control, as evidenced by a very small number of yellows. I thought this allowed TPSCC to really show its true character, as everybody then had to deal with the changes in their cars as tires wore, which precipitated a number of differing pit strategies. Great racing throughout.

Had a consistent car, just not a particularly fast one. Started out a little bit free, which tried to bite me a couple of times early when trying to get underneath folks coming off T2...one wild ride in articular put me way at the back, but fortunately that was early in the first long green run. I was able to run the entire fuel distance, and had managed to catch up to second and third place (and get back onto the lead lap courtesy of Conor's pit stop) when the yellow waved - and I had only about 3 or 4 laps of fuel left. Good fortune, indeed.

The last green flag run featured the most intense racing I've ever done in one of these cars. Francesco, Jeff S and I battled for a good 20 laps or so without ever touching one another (but using up a whole lotta race car). All through that run, I knew I was about 10 laps short of making it on fuel, so decided to try right-sides only. Had just about caught up to Larry by time to pit. Hit the stop pretty flawlessly, which took advantage of Michael's oh-no-they're-fixing-damage stop, then waited ..and waited...and waited for Larry to stop....but he never did - ARRRRGGGHHH! All in all, very pleased with a third...heck, very pleased to just finish without any major incident. Congrats to Conor for a excellent race, to Larry for an exquisite drive complicated by not ony last second computer troubles but an early spin, and to the rest of the field - for one heck of a stock car race! As my good friend Bill says "Who has more fun than we do?"

What a great race for all. When Greg Carrier says "I believe that was the best TPSCC race of which I've been a part." That says a lot.
My race, Had a good car. Was able to make it on a full tank run. Running second most of the race, no mistakes on the track. The green pit stops was an added feature. Last part of the race, was in P1 after Conor made his last pit. 10 laps to go, 4 laps of fuel. Hoping for some sort of luck. Guess I should of been more specific on which kind of luck. Went into the pits for tires and a splash of fuel. Hud indicated 10 secs for fuel and tires....an additional 22 seconds for damage. Didnt know I had damage. Since cancelling the damage repair while it's being repaired is not an option in TPSCC, all I could do was hang my head down. Happy with a P4.

First I want to say Thank You to everyone for waiting for me to reboot my computer at the start. I know that is not the normal policy here and I would have totally understood if you started without me. That was just so cool of Tim and everyone else to do that for me. The race started and I had a car inside of me so I couldn`t get to the racing line and I found out that my car wasn`t particularly good in the high groove as I spun. I was thinking "These guys were so nice to me for waiting and I spin on lap 1 and take out half the field", but thankfully no one hit me and I did a 360 and kept going and no caution came out. I knew all was not lost because we had a lot of laps left so I put my head down and drove. A yellow did come out fairly early and it was crucial for me for two reasons, 1. It bunched me up with the rest of the field. 2. I was able to get tires and fuel and fix damage (I just scraped the wall with my 360) Later when everyone made green flag pitstops I still had roughly 15 laps of fuel so I stayed out. Just about everyone had pitted when the yellow came out. That put 3/4 of the field a lap down. I pitted and went the distance from there. Actually I was 1 lap short on fuel so I had to let Conor lap me in order to finish so that`s what I did.
I ran a couple of road course races earlier with big fields but hardly anyone on T.S. and it is so very cool that the TPSCC has everyone on T.S. I feel like we are making friends as well as racing and that makes the racing that much better. I`m not writing a novel here so I`ll just stop now. Thanks guys.

This race showed the kind of professionalism here at R2P. This is the kind of racing I hope too look forward to every week.

I had a solid 5-7 place car and finished 7th. The car felt great until the first pit stop and for some reason it wanted to spin between t1 and t2, which happened. After the spin I slowed down my pace and just ran consistent lap times. All in all, I'm satisfied with my finish.

I had a bad feeling about this race all day yesterday. I usually get some practice in, but up until I hit the server I had no laps. Too busy. I knew I had a decent setup for a Shootout race, but I was unsure if it would last a full green run. Turns out the setup was fast, but dropped off quickly and I was having to brake early and trail-brake the whole corner at the end of the runs. So what to do, take a provisional or go for it?? I decided to make a qual run. Not too bad, but I had much better cars behind me, and I immediately felt I was in over my head. As we started the race, I was so worried about th RF that I was letting people just go. Larry lost it early, and I expected a yellow, but it never came so some more guys got by. So now over-driving, I bang the wall hard a couple of times. But I'd look at the guy behind me in my rearview and crack up laughing when they'd bounce off the wall following me LOL Anywy the 1st green stop comes and I FORGOT TO TURN OFF REPAIRS. ARGH!!! 40+ seconds in the pits. I tried like a mother to get back up into the top 10 after that, but I'd get up there, have to make a stop for rubber and loose the position again. This cycle went against me as I had worn tires at the end with guys passing me left and right with newer rubber. Dropped me back down to 11th. Not my best day. Grats to Conor, and the racing was clean and fair, it was still a ton of fun.

Great job by Conor. Complete domination of the field, Boss. WTG. Congrats to Greg a/k/a Mark Martin and Larry together with the rest of the field.

Overall, remarkable job by the field with the few cautions. I think the field continues to show improvement each time out.

For myself, I made the dumbest mistake possible. Like an idiot , I made a dumb dumb change to an otherwise steady setup and just had no acceleration of the corners. Then, to further demonstrate my stupidity, I made an adjustment in the pits which only made matters worse. Pretty darn embarrassing to finish dead frickin' last but hopefully get it back next weekend.
