Yeah. Now I remember why running NASCAR stopped being worthwhile to me in the first place.

I had worked out more than eight seconds over the second-place car when a caution with 40 laps remaining took that away from me. Was working the lead back up when another caution flew with less than 10 to go. Unfortunately being up front meant I couldn't base a pit decision off of what others were doing. Only had about five laps on the tires since the previous pit stop, so I stayed out on track. Yeah. Everyone behind me pitted.

So after leading 106 of 160 laps I watched my race get flushed down the toilet in the final three laps. Yay.

Dej'avu' all over again. Same thing as you echo here happened to me and Bob last week. I was running second and we had pulled out a good distance on a long pit run. A caution with 10 to go and we were sitting ducks. When everyone behind us went in Bob whispered to me "This outa' be interesting!" We went from fist/second to fifth/sixth. Well the same thing happened tonight. JD an I were running first/second and although Todd was closing on us he had started his charge a few seconds behind. I thought by time he got to us he may have a fight on his hands with his car...at least that was our hope because he was coming. Then the yellow comes out. No way was I going to fall into the same trap as last week. "I'M GETTING TIRES." I saw Todd stay out and really did feel some empathy cuz' I was there last week. The fresh tires were the way to go but I think we may have had a first and second for our team without the flag....depanding on how good Todd's car was when he got to us. Anyhoo.....This last two weeks really are a good illustration of how good this simulation can be because these are the same issues the cup boys face at these tracks. Don't get me wrong; I would have preferred long green runs at both these races. As my Friend Greg would say "Sometimes ya' get tha' Bar [bear...he's from the South] and sometimes the Bar gets you! :^)

had a dream last night i won this race....

ok cool i wasn't dreaming. the results showed mike winning and didn't even show i raced last night until this morning. i drove the car tonight hard, infact too hard trying to keep up with todd. very fast, good race bud. i wore the tires out on every run, and kept backing up and backing up. i even got out of sequence there alittle and really lost some time. i stayed somewhat close and gave myself a shot to win at the end and it paid off. i can't tell ya how good it feels to be standing in victory lane. i was very surprised todd didn't pit, and was even more surprised i got by him even tho he didn't. he was so fast all night. after i got by, i thought for sure mike was going to fly by me for the finish but somehow i hung on. Wow, great race!! pleasure racin you boys. whata excellent buncha drivers. great driving everyone, cya at pocono

First things first. Great job Danial. There was alot of great racing tonight and the shoot out at the end was fun to watch, what a finish. I drove most of the race with white nuckles and had very little time to relacks. I know if you find trouble here you find it in a big way. It's called concrete and I didn't want anything to do with it. I drove hard but stayed at a safe pace most of the race. Got caught speeding on pit road and went two laps down errr Live and learn. Had alot of fun out there tonight and just love racing in this series. I got to see alot of good racing between driver's out there and it's as clean as it get's. It's fun to be apart of this kind of racing. My team gave me a very fast car and I hoped for a top 5 but speeding on pit road wont get it done.lol. Got one more track to get ready for, the team says the car is a winner.lol .....see ya at Pocono.

I agree Rick. Never once all night did I feel uncomfortable racing with anyone that was around me. A great bunch of racers here. I actually had a car that would stay up with the front runners and that's when the racing is fun. I even had to laugh when my team-mate Bill and I got together on the last lap coming off of four and ended up crossing the finish line crossways and almost backwards. LOL! Great win Daniel! And hope to see everyone next week.
