Arizona Shootout

Tonight's race exposed a big hole in my practicing- I had run some laps side-by-side on the outside, but I had zero experience trying to hug the inside in traffic. Went around early while trying to stay down and backed into the wall. Took some serious damage and went around again on the next corner. Facing the wrong way twice in midcorner was enough for me and I exited. Feeling guilty about that in retrospect, I should have got 'er around for repairs and hung in there for my team.

Congrats podium! Nice job Bob climbing up to 11 from the back. Saw Francesco have an exciting moment while racing hard with Mike Lilley- they both just missed a spun car in the middle of a straight.

I succeeded at finshing the race which is always a plus. I was having a decent run on a track I have only practice laps on. I put in a decent amount of practice and thanks to my teammate, Francesco, I had a good setup. Unfortunately, I spun all on my own and damaged my car. After that I was limping around with a serious pull at times during breaking or acceleration. I opted to ride it out rather than pit since it was still drivable but a little unpredictable. I apologize for being the slowly rolling speedbump on the front stretch. I was against the inside wall facing the wrong way and after a pack of cars passed I got the car spun around but I saw the next pack coming. I didn't move side to side in order to give you guys room on either side of me. I don't know what else I could have done but if anyone has any suggestions I'd be interested to hear them. After it's all said and done I got the race experience on the track and I'll be better prepared next time.

I had a top ten car but didn't get to show it after trying to avoid Michael's turn 3 spin and having a spin for myself. This track is a lot of fun and I can't wait to see it again.

I to only wanted to finish this race.And after Qing 13 Iam happy with my 6th place,and it keeps me in 2nd for points!!Had a good time racing with greg for the 1st 15 laps or so.Nice job to all that came out tonight!!

Very methodical race for me. Started 2nd and got an awesome start which blasted me into first and had a two second lead within a few laps. I then started to try and settle into a groove. My car was fairly tight for the first half of the race due to high RF temps, but they soon settled down and my car was just completely neutral for the rest of the race...very comfortable. Had a few close calls with a few lapped cars but everyone was mostly clean.

I went from hero to zero in 1 lap in qually. I had an awesome car. But, I think I got too excited. I had a run and a half going on my 2nd hot lap. I cut down hard for T4, but went down just a bit too low on the apron and I lost it. Had to start from dead last. I was actually doing OK during the race. I made it to 11th. I would have had a couple of more spots, but when the 1st big wreck happened in front of me, I slowed down looking for a yellow. DOH! No yellows in this series! So by the time I fineshed dodging wrecks and passing who I could, my tires were shot and I couldn't make up any more positions. Grats Conor and thanks to my teammate Francesco for a great setup for here. It's going right into my lockbox.

The first attempt at a shift from second to third didn't register on the start. That allowed Connor to blow by like the wind. I don't think I had enough car to pass him once he got by me. It appeared it took a couple more laps for my car to come in then his. Every time I started making ground up, I found traffic. Everyone provided all the room needed to get by, I just wanted to be careful to insure second place rather than being to aggressive and finding last place. As bad as I have been at this track in the past, second place was very good finish for me.
