Stupid front brakes locked up...
Just wish I could get over those first few lap jitters.

First off. My apologies Dennis. I ended up locking my tires up coming into t1 and got into you. Completely uncalled for.

As for the rest of the race, just starting in the back made it difficult to catch back up. When I started to close on the rest of the field, someone spun, and I went too far inside and hit the apron spinning out. Resulting being stuck on the inside of the track w/ a flat. Took me a bit to get back around and into the pits. Was too far to even have a chance to catch back up.

good race all..But I cant beleave that some guys set there car up to shift to 3rd at a track like this...But if thats what it takes, Ill have to look into that one for here!!
P.S I only mean to say that I would have not thought of it for here...I do shift too at some tracks..I think this stock car mod runs faster when shifting.But still it really is not right.But in this game it works.

Yeah, I shifted but to be honest, it wasn't that much of an advantage. The average speeds through the corners were just too high for me to gain an advantage and it was more risk than reward.

Shifting at short tracks is an easy way to make you faster, but you better know what you are doing and shift at the right times in the right places. I got away with it tonight :)

Very nice conor i always go back and run your race in replay to try and find some more time.And like you said you better know when and how to shift these cars.You do it WELL!!!!

My first left turn only race was a huge success!! Fun racing, had a couple close calls but no problems, made some passes and got passed.

Thanks for posting your setup Jimmy Jones I couldn't have done this without it!

I don't know if I could handle a full length race but I will do some more of these shootouts, maybe all of next season.

I didn't downshift, but I did brake softly and through the first half of each corner, is this normal/common ?? I Didn't notice any brakelights and I saw some people behind me possibly suprised by my slowing/braking. Sorry, but it worked for me!

I was unusually amped up at the start, been a while since I felt the ol' heart pounding but the traffic had me going. I pushed a bit hard the first 10 laps to good effect, getting me up to maybe 8th I think, then not long after my setup went completely away on me and the car was horrendously loose on braking. Once I spun the first time, a couple more immediately followed, and I decided to find my way to the pits for tires and repairs, then cruised the rest of the way to avoid the DNF. Disappointing, but it's kinda funny- I feel like I can fingerpoint at my crew chief, I did the best I could as a driver. Oh, wait... that's me! :P

@Ryan: There are no brake lights on these cars.
