Craig... I was getting to it as best I could. I was a bit more focused on how poor of a start took place.

I dont know what happened at the start, but nobody moved! I ended up getting a penalty, then my brother typed a PM to Tim for me and Tim removed the penalty... at exactely the same time as Greg Albrington hit the brakes way too early into T5, I went around the outside, and Greg ran me off the road... Oh well... racing incident I guess

a couple of very messy races, but I think that was caused by the sub-par track design. I hope this track isnt included in the series next year...

I was under the impression the pole sitter set the pace not the guy in 2nd, or anyone else for that matter!. I followed the pace car until we hit the bank, I had been warned not to take the pace car b4 the s/f line and thought a steady pace (as is my perogative) would be best. I got green to go and floored it while the guy in 2nd musta realised where he was and had to keep his foot off as s/f line was coming up. Besides that I had a good race, cant figure where those fellas were gettin all the speed from in the green machines tho, was amazin.

The track was both very boring with a 30 seconds flat out section (not what F3s are about) and had the madness of a bizarre turn 1. Track design not great.

The first rolling start seemed to go ok apart from having to duck and dive out the way of people spearing into T1 at very unthoughtful speeds for L1.

Second rolling start showed up why go on green but can't overtake can't work as a rolling start procedure. You put your foot down on green but often have to take you foot off otherwise you will pass guy in front. Taking foot off just as others are at full throttle is a recipe for disaster.

Double file rolling starts are also not good for online racing as it's quite unsafe. I thought the standing starts last week were better as at least you know where you stand and how to go even though they are pretty dangerous too.

Dunno whether rFactor has the option, but can you do a single file rolling start and go on green without the problem of no passing before S/F line?

Tonight's driving was just terrible and a feel i wasted my time. This is not said out of anger ofc but you have 4 or 5 quick gentlemen drivers and the rest you have to spend your race dogding.

1) Tim says no passing b4 s/f line like 3 times, yet there they go raring off like horny rabbits..Scott in particular..then he slows down in the middle of the track with so many cars behind him...really now! :( and he still gets his penalty removed when it was well deserved!!!

2) "Easy T1 guys" it gets said, yet rambo/kamakazi styleeeeeeeeeeee :(

3) Next few corners again a pileup...over zealous driving from theres no harm to just go easy 1st lap.

I can't be any more carefull in a race then i already am, those that know me will know my driving etiquette. Always calm and considerate.

I wanted to continue and i pitted for repairs and continued but i just lost all motivation.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but watching the race replays says I'm not. The driving tonight was just poor...and dont blame the track pls...its never the track!

I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THESE RACES! At least i can now go cuddle in arms of the women i love. hmmm..what was that i mentioned about rabbits before?

The car was much better for this race as I made an adjustment to the coast differential that made it easier for me to brake into the corners, especially turn one, where I was all over the road in the first race. Still, I made a boo-boo at turn three on lap one when I went to the inside of a guy in a silver car and spun. Sorry to all that were inconvenienced by that. Anyway, just drove steady laps after that to finish 4th. Shame, from where I started, I could've easily won this one as the car was just planted.

Also, wanna point out that some guys don't know the rules of a rolling start, it seems. The pole-sitter in the second race was doing weird things like staying a mile behind the guy on the outside front row and draggin his brakes for whatever reason. Sure made the start a mess for me and the guys behind.

I'm not gonna take that Grecian. I was sitting just off Greg's right rear at the start, when all of a sudden the field ahead slowed down, and i didnt have time to react. I did get back in line before the start line, thats why my penalty was removed.

k dude, but you need to stop going off @ T1..its irratating :P

The pole sitter sets the pace, no matter what that pace is. It is the responsibility of the others to stay behind him. Allen was doing what he was told, to give the pace car some room to get off track before the start.
