Silverstone

Grats to Dimitry and Pete.

This track and I get along real well when the stars are aligned, and for some reason they did and when I get done with this post race I am buying a lottery ticket.

Qualy: came around and my goal was to be in the top 5, I had no qualy set-up to speak of so I ran my race set-up and just took out some go-go juice and was awarded P2.

Race: When the green dropped a frantic pace ensued with my trying to keep pace with dimitry and fighting to keep Sir Pete of Bunce behind me, I managed to keep Dimitry in my windshield the entire first stint and then it was time for round 1 of pit stops, I entered about 8 seconds behind dimitry and left 15 seconds behind, Huh? what the heck, does the dude have duel fuelers or something? I then returned to track to keep holding my P2 position and very cautiously trying to drive mistake free as Pete was right there to take advantage of any miscue on my behalf, Round 2 of pits came and went un-eventful except for the fact dimitry had an exceptional pit crew again, I sat yelling at my crew guys...:hey you see him? you see how fast his team is? do you want to get paid after this race? you guys are terrible, I am not paying you hacks 1 penny" better get your resumes prepared, I resumed P2 with Sir Pete of Bunce right on my gearbox again, geez I cant shag this dude, great race there pete. Also thank you for all the passing opportunities to my fellow competitors, well done mates.

I want to thank my Teammates at CanAm for great comrade & for my non-custom paint job. Also a thanks to Dennis who helped me with my set-up on which I only made 3 small changes to suit my style.

Thank you to the Target/Porsche/CanAm/Rfaction & R2P for a awesome race on a cloudy day.

Great racing, Jeff, though I could never get quite close enough! My entire race consisted of push for a few laps>fry left front tyre>baby it for a few laps>rinse & repeat!
I had a mistake free run, the only hiccup came at the second stop when another car pulled into the stall in front just as I was done. Had to slowly squeeze by, which cost a couple of seconds. Not enough to have put me in front of Jeff, though.
Grats Dmitry on another demolition job. Sure would like to know your pit secrets...not that it would've made any difference!

Not much to say, Dennis and Barry had the teamwork going and drafted away from me at the beginning, never really was able to catch backup once they built a good chunk of time.

Dmitry T was close for a while in the first stint, but after that, I was all alone. Was still fun though, the car was hooked up nice and tight, I always love running at Silverstone. Great track.

Jeff, Pete. Dmitry's pitstops aren't anything special. (Well, okay, the 2:29 on his first stop is pretty good, but I did a 2:34 and I hit the limiter a good 10 feet before the line). You guys probably were too conservative on pit entrance, hit the limiter too early.

There is a new Fabcar Group for all ya'll to join. We have replaced Long Beach'79 with Mid-Ohio. So the remaining tracks on schedule will be Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio and Lemans
