I think I could have given you a run for your money at the end but I just didn't run cleanly enough.

Excellent performance by the lapped cars. I got caught surprised by the closure speed a few times resulting in some minor and one major off. Luck was on my side today tho.

Apologies to John Onofrey. After 1 hr 15m i lost what little concentration I had going into T1. Sorry I took you out like that.

Was a good race through out. I always was racing. First 2/3 I was battling with Dmitry Tsarev and then the last dozen laps or so I was trying to catch Garry Hedrick. The last half dozen laps I managed two runs at him to which he defended perfectly, on the last turn putting me to the outside on the hairpin. :p

Race, I got a good start and entered T2 P4, I had Kieron on my gearbox for the next 22 laps, the last few of the first stint i began to watch my mirrors which was not advised by my crew chief, I got loose coming onto the front stretch ever so lightly kissed the wall and Kieron took the position, we were so evenly matched it was hard to pick up even a 0.1 on him, so I fell back 3 seconds after my mistep, I pit and low and behold I have the first pit stall, I didn't have a chance at telling my crew guys not to fix the damage as the car drove fine, 38 seconds later I am on my way with an 8 second deficit I never was able to chip at. Great racing all around, thank you to Dennis for my set-up help and the rest of the drivers out there today to make passing a breeze!!!!

Apologies to Dmitry for getting in your was at the top of the corkscrew.

I thought I had a good time coming into mornng practice but I was wrong. The car setup was fine, but what I realized during the race was there were a couple places my line was just off. Some practice with others probably would've helped that. Good course, hopefully on next seasons list as well.

What a great race, I couldn't relax for a second :).

Very surprised to find my times where fast enough to get 4th in qualiy. I'm new to the Fabcars so I had no idea what times where good and not, and to get 4th was a big surprise.

My first attempt at a rolling start was a bit naff, Got a message after I crossed the line saying I had got a stop and go as I past a car before I crossed the line. This distracted me quite abit and Jeff S managed to get by on the exit of T1. I'm sure I didn't pass anyone before the start line though and it seemed the admin agreed and canceled the stop and go.

So after that I got my head down and pushed to try and get my 4th place back, which ended up being quite a task and it made the first fuel stint an absolute blinder. Jeff and I where so well matched that I found it pretty much imposable to get past, I had maybe 2 runs on him in 20 laps but both of them would have been risky so I never took them. Even in traffic I couldn't get by.

On around lap 20 though he half spun in the final turn and I was able to squeeze past, I only had 2 laps to go before my first stop though so I had to push damn hard. Luckily for me the stop went great and after the stops I came out about 4 secs ahead of Jeff. From now till the end of the race he was never more than 8 seconds behind, infact it was mostly around 5 the whole time. Like I said up top, I couldn't relax for a second :).

With about 15 mins to go I came up to a couple of cars thinking they where backmarkers, infact one was but the other was Dmitry. I was chuffed to bits to be in 4th but 3rd is always better but I knew it would be damn hard to get. I erred on the side of cation and put my foot down and at one point I got to within 2 secs of Dmitry and I stayed there for a couple of laps, but I soon found I was never going to get the place from him so I just concentrated on finishing 4th, which i managed.

Was a great introduction to these cars and this series for me. I love the longer races and I couldn't have asked for more from it. Grats to Tristan, David, and Dmitry and thanks to the guys at the back, you did a great job of letting us by. Also thanks to Barry Hedrick for his setup, I was 2 seconds a lap faster with his setup.

I had the most horrendous steering issues at this event, sometimes the car would go where I pointed it, others it would go where I pointed it...eventually! I was amazed to actually finish the race and believe me, it was much harder work than 2 hours of monsoon weather at Donnington!
Next day, graphics cars packs up. Any connection, I wonder?
