Congrats to Podium.

Sorry I couldn't finish this one. After my 3rd stop and go penalty for speeding in the pit lane, I decided enough was enough already.

'grats to Roman and Tom on the wins. Heinz, John, Ryan and Enzo for filling out the podiums.

That was a lot of fun! But i blew it in the pits.

Was using a lot less fuel than i'd allowed for with my pit strategy, but not enough to go the distance on one stop. so i decided that since i didn't have pace for Roman or Heinz anyway, my best strategy would be to get the splash and new tires at about the 2/3 mark -- which should have left me with the proper fuel level for the rest of the race according to my pit strategy settings (my PLR is set to fill to the given level).

so i came in early the first time and took tires and about 60L (topping off the tank).

And this is looking very good as i'm running 2nd, expecting to add only about 15L of fuel, when i turn into pit road the second time (with about 8 sec back to third as i remember). i pull into my stall and hit the enter key, turn off the ignition and sit there while the crew fills the damn tank!

At the finish line i was less than 2sec back of John for P3. Now i know i made more than enough mistakes during the race that cost me more than that. John Passmore can attest to that, as i seemed to acquire some sort of syndrome every time i got near him today (sorry John for being "that guy" again -- i think it was the flashbacks), but still, when i need 15L and they give me 50L i think i have a right to complain.

oh, and i also have to appologize for my garage exit for the Q session. i looked, saw two cars and stepped on the clutch pedal -- which did nothing to slow the car down. not sure who it was i hit, i already had the bag over my head to hide my embarassment.

First, grats to podiums in both classes.
The overlapped drivers did a damn good job today, thx folks.

Qualy:
Didnt noticed the high temperatures at out and water and oil went into the deep red, but gained P1 :D
So I put the coolers to maximum for the race, and lowerd the revs drastically, safety first hehe.

Race:
I pushed from the start to stay in front and soon I got a comfortable gap to the 2nd.
I knew it should be a 2 pit stop race with the Viper but something went wrong with my fuel calculation and when I crossed the finish line I had a surplus of almost 50 litres in tank. Heinz was very close to me at the last laps.
Puh, my stupid strategy did almost cost me the win.

Race was ok, hard on the tyres, managed with only one "tyres worn" warning. One thing: why did you have to race me, Enzo, when I was lapping you?!? Two whole laps? When your making fun 1 lap is enough, ok?

Good race fun battles. Sorry JP for spinning you, wasn't much of an impact but it was enough for the game to spin you. Luckily we got going without losing spots.

no blue flag,but it still doesnt excuse your side swipe tho,but sadly expected.apart from that steady race,but happy enough with 3rd 1st time out in bi turb.

I tried to make you look back, Enzo, flashing lights, opening before turning - don't you have "tab" pressed to see who is behind you and which place he holds? Sidesweep? It was deserved, I think. Besides, it never hurt you, just a bit of paint. My tyres suffered more. No hard feelings, Enzo, just be more aware, is all. Cya. :)

That was a Very interesting race. Congrats to Roman for just keeping the win even with the fuel miscalculations..

Race was ok, first set of tyres got SO hot it was making keeping up to Roman and Rob difficult, so i backed off just wanting to secure the 3rd spot. Never had any pressure from behind was ok.. I had a few issues going off track doing stupid things, and i think i could have ha a chance to win if i had bot lost any time with mistakes because of romans 2nd pitstop

Before romans 2nd stop i was 1min behind and when i saw the counter ticking down till i saw him leaving the pits 1 secnd infront of i was shocked... then tired my hardest on the old set of med's to get on his bumpe.. but was just not able too.

The field was split up all over the place this race, but also thanks to G2 drivers for doing a good job. I waited till straights before passing aswell, didnt want to complicate things.

Unlucky to Rob who i keep gaining places from his misfortunes .. You need to work on your pit stopping bro :)

Screwed myself out of 4th and possibly a podium in the first pit stop (what should have been my only pit stop). I got the keys on my gamepad backwards and actually decreased the amount of fuel the crew added rather than increasing it. I think if I had just left it alone I would have finished the race on 1 stop with no problems. Instead I had to stop for a splash and dash with 5 minutes to go. I came out of the pits about 3 seconds behind John P. I have to quit over thinking things.

This was my first time running the Mosler. My opinion on it is that it's an easy and fun car to drive but seriously under-powered compared to the competition. Everything was running away from me on the straights. I really want my beloved Bi-Turbo back. ;)

Congrats to the winners and podiums. Thanks to the GT cars who were all courteous and I tried to return it by not holding anyone up.

Looking forward to Birmingham but I may have to re-think running the Mosler. The problem is I'm even slower in the Morgan and I don't like the SEAT. Damn.....
