GTPC: Mexico

Well ... I dont feel very happy after finishing 3rd and being lapped by the winner. Sorry Jan, I mean congrats and all, but You were a 1 man race on your own. I knew Any 550 with the wrong person would equal a complete massacre on this track, and you in my opinion are just too damn fast in that car. And I tried to tell you before the race.

I applaud Gabor for not taking the 550.

Well, I was suprised to get pole in quali, it was a do or die last lap, and i wanted a 1m27.xxx like i had in free practice, but a dead 1m28 was good enough.

I knew the race for the win was over from when I seen Jan in the 550. A little dissapointed i would only be racing for 2nd and 3rd. My Rival Roman seem'd to have come unprepared so I was looking forward to closing the gap on him today.

I made 2 big mistakes in this race, and both cost me positions. But Did have a nice time racing against Daniel and Gabor. Well done you 2.

The G2 boys were class in this race, handled the GT battles nicely, thank you.. Congrats in your race aswell.

I took Hards all around, and they managed pretty well in Stint 1 but stint 2 they didnt work very well, and I was praying not to get lapped by Jan, but it happend :(

yea, connection issues through quali screwed all my laps. sorry for punting the Vette in quali, too. one minute you were 3 car lengths ahead of me, the next moment, you were sideways in front of me. if I tapped you, sorry, my comp/connection was messing up pretty badly. yea, about the race, I also forgot it was a rolling start, lol. when I came out of the final corner I was thinking "wow, they are taking off pretty quick--HEY!!! *floors it*". connection issues carried on through to the racethough , and f-ed it up as well. but, I'm wondering what happened to the "first lap punting rule". are these rules just applied whenever the stewards feel like it? cause I got pushed off pretty badly at the first corner by the person in the black and white Saleen, and nothing was said to him. that pissed me off pretty badly. but, after making up 8 seconds in 4 laps on the person in 6th, the lag struck again, and when it stopped, I was sideways in the grass heading towards the wall. so, yea. I hated this track anyway.

That race couldn't have gone any better. Only made one mistake all race, braking a little too late in T1 and lost 3 secs after visiting the botanics a little.
Didn't expect to win by that much, but I knew I had a fast car. Really did expect a bigger challenge since I got some in qually.
Thanks to the lappers for making it relatively easy to overtake since that aint easy in the first place.
Will consider grapping another car for the next round.

I wasn't boring under the race...
We were great racing with Heinz till my spin.
I knew before that the inside stones can be killers but in the heat of the race i forgot about it...
I was knocking the wall with the Saleen so i still was luckey that my car wasn't demaged too much and i could finish the race with it.

It was quite difficult to lap the G2 cars at the slow corners when Daniel was just about 3-4sec behind me or when we were racing with Heinz.
But it was ok, so thanks for the G2 guys.

Without my spin i may could finish on podium but that's racing...:)

It was going perfectly for me, my best race so far, but then I got this weird fps drop and the game was a dia-show and I had to retire. :/

Jan what do you mean expecting more of a challenge? Quali is 3 or 4 laps..not 59!

This is not Gtx .. this is the GTPC. This series was created to give the rest a chance who always have aliens taking all the glory.

I think you are a league above to be honest. I'm not trying to kill your win, but it was way to easy for you..

Hopefully you will choose a car of lesser evil next race, or I will be petitioning your invitation to this chapter.

Consider a rank restriction, then. Anyone above the imposed restriction would not be allowed to participate.

Well .. Its not about that, because my rank is higher than Jans, so I would go before he does ... though i choose not to race with a 550 (ever), I cant even do that at this stage of the season, and at this track it just proved how the 550 sucks in good hands. So what kind of race does that leave the restricted guys. An upsetting one

Whoa, easy there mate! This was my first race in this series, no way I could know how tough the competition was gonna be. I dont want to get into trouble with anyone.

I just want to race and have fun, and if that means taking the Elise next time, then I'll happily do that :)

Not to engage in any flame war or anything, but there nothing holding you back choosing it too.

And btw, you outpaced me in qual, so your pace was right up there.
