GTPC: Nurburgring

well, im usally not good enough in races, to really concentrate on timming a pit stop. but this race, i lost 4 places due to my random unplanned pit stop..

Guys I need to review the replay before the results are posted. Gimme a couple hours- currently stewarding a race, then lunch time.

If anyone wants to file a protest, send me email. Please refrain from any public mudslinging. We must keep this professional. If you have issues with a driver, please discuss it privately in emails.

I have asked Tim to post the server replay (I also have my own copy). In the meantime, I recommend stepping away from the computer and cooling off. THEN get back to me.

Where can I get the replay?

I need to see who put me outta race 5 minutes before the end while I was leading in a G2 class?!?!?! Would be easier (not to mention courteous) to at least receive an apology.

but i did get several black flags. so stewards and game did there job.

Tom, I just wantched the replay, and sorry, I didnt mean to do that, was going to try and pass on the inside, when i saw i was to close and to fast behind you. i locked up the brakes. and understeered into you, resulting in you fish tailing.. i do apologize!

There are no Race2Play Stewards in Ind. Chapter races.

Results are not final obviously. I will await word from Charles on any post-race penalties.

i'm very sad about this race, i lost my internet connection for some seconds while i was racing on 2nd place :((((((((
the worst that i still don't know what coused my problem.

Crazy Race for me

Qualy was OK, on my last try I was on a .51 but made a mistake and rear tires were almost burnin.

Race:
OMG, couldnt see the lights from my cockpit, did an early start for formation lap, and immediately this sweet black flag enlightend :-/
Went to pit after 2nd lap for my stop and go and pushed the Vette to and over the limit with the hope to bring it home on podium. The whole field was in front of me and I never thought about to catch Heinz and Bobby but after my second pit (the only one I planned to do) I was close, saw them and kept pushing harder, in the end I caught Heinz and even Bobby who went for a splash and dash to pit.

Unlucky start with a happy end for me. Had some critical situations at overlapping - you dont have to break and let me pass at blue flag but plz dont fight agressively and damage my car and risk my race.

This race was mental today..

It all started in quali, I wanted to get out infront of the g2's today because i needed clean air if i was to get anywhere near my competition Roman. As i got out the pitlane and passed the white line, i changed into 2nd but something happened and it miss shifted back into first and spun me.. thought the wasnt so bad, but then the car died and saw smoke.. i thought you got to be kidding me from a 2nd gear mis shift? .. hit escape and cussed like a sailor. Lucky was a small grid today and charles let me start behind GT's.

I mentioned just before start i was going to be on a warpath to catch roman and it began with being all over Mike E. and was trying different lines to get passed, but ended up hitting him from behind accidentally.. I wasnt even directly behind him, and it looks like netcode or carbox issue, because the replay doesnt even show our cars touching... Sorry Mike..

This dropped me way back and then i saw Roman in pitlane and i was like wtf! I pounded the hell out of the listers gearbox and engine to get as much of an advantage over roman then and to finally get past barret and try bring in Gabor and Bobby who were 10 and 20 seconds up the road already.. Gabor got a discon and it was on trying to bring bobby in., but he was just as consistant as me.

After pitstops had the gap down a little more, but roman was now very close to me and on a charge... I was keeping the time at around 6 seconds when i got it wrong and went off track.. Roman came flying passed and I just needed to finish behind him to keep title fight alive. I was on roman then for a few laps, and had a good battle as always but lifted and backed off to avoid a collision when he almost spun out, and after that he dissapeared and i thought ill just hang back and conserve fuel.. it was looking like i may have miscalculated bobbys pre race prediction.

Shane got me all fired up a few laps from the end because he went off, then rejoined while i was passing him, then underbraking next corner just rammed me off... to make it worse, he then shoved tom off .... Lucky there were not many G2's around and still was able to claim 2nd with a dnf ..

then roman all of a sudden was in first and i thought NO this cant be, whats bobby doing! i was too far back now about 6 seconds to mount a challenge for 2nd and thought this was gonna hurt... Unfortunatly for bobby, but lucky for me, he dove into pits and I was able to make it home with 1 lap of fuel left.

congrats roman, I'm going to need a miracle in Austria, but imo its all over i think.

I do hope there is a full turnout for the final race, and I cant wait to bring the pain with the saleen!
