Good job guys.

Glad to see the two sets of drivers merge and seemed the sensible thing to do given numbers.

Way too easy to lose this car so big concentration early on, most laps were a battle to hang on to Roberto's pace, until I made one mistake putting me in the grasp of Barrett.

Fun track although maybe a bit FPS heavy. Good job Richard on the win.

lap 1, turn 1. - contact with Nick (racing accident) i span.

Lap 2, turn 2. - put it down too many gears span into wall and flipped.

Lap 4. - retired car as it was un - drivable (rear suspension damage)

I like the track and agree that the fps was a bit heavy. I'm just not a big fan of the formula trainer.

The less said about my race the better. After running well offline I was having some real issues. I was nowhere near my PB in qually .... I was lucky to finally get a half decent lap in at the end.

The opening lap was thankfully uneventful. I haven't had enough practice in these cars in traffic and was slightly on edge. Nonetheless I got through the opening lap ... and promptly span in on lap 2. I ended up bang in the middle of the track and lost my rear wing when (totally unavoidable) contact occurred.

Driving with no rear wing was never going to happen, it felt alright at slow speed, but as soon as I hit a high speed corner the back end broke loose and spat me off track.

By the time I'd limped back to the pits and had the necessaray repairs I was a lap down on the leaders.

The rest of the race was unspectacular, more frustrating spins, and poor laptimes compared to practice. The temptation to quit in disgust was strong, but I soldiered on.

Apologies to whoever hit me on lap 2, hope you didn't get too much damage and were able to race.

Good race, really liked this track even if the cars didn't much.

I guessed from the way Roberto improved in quali that he was still learning the track a bit, so I was really worried about what pace he would end up with.

Fortunately I made my first ever decent rFactor start and got ahead. There was some pressure for the first few laps but I think Roberto span somewhere around lap 5, because he vanished from my mirrors and then slowly dropped away after that.

From then I just had to race against myself, trying to keep calm and concentrating all the way to the finish line. Probably the longest 20 minute race I've ever had!

eheh my last sim-drive was from Xmas, so nearly 2 weeks without racing and this is '08 comeback.
Plus, new track (fps issues, anyone?) that i learnt only in qualify.
I thought it could have been much worse, so i'm quite happy about the result!
