Estoril Euro Cup

Yeah, I just realized it's my 9th consecutive podium finish in a row! Ranked on 9.39 now, didn't expect that much of myself :P(at least not after few years of my sim-racing "carrer") :))

Qual'd solid, and was happy with second. Take that anytime.

On the start I had a great take-off but Scott was on the inside so I actually let *him* through...which felt sorta weird :P After that it was just plain boring... Pete did put a little pressure on lap 1 and 2 but I stopped making those tiny mistakes slowing me down and I was all lonely after that. Just driven to the end...

Not a terribly exciting, as one can see from the fact that the top 7 pretty much finished where they started.

At the start Samu and Allen were going at it, and Samu went off so I went up a spot. From there, I tried to keep as close to Allen as I could in case he made a mistake. He never did, and I eventually lost him. Samu, poor fella, kept catching me, but then would make a mistake and lose tons of ground, only to have to make it up. He spent the better of the race just simply catching up to me. I knew he was much faster, and was just waiting to pretty much let him on through. Late in the race, he finally got around me, I didn't put up much of a fight. No use fighting for a position I was going to lose anyhow, and risk ruining my race. He was probably fast enough to catch Allen, just didn't have the time.

Regardless, had fun, just probably wished there was a bigger field. Gratz podium.

Well, operation make up for Sunday has started well enough, I'm 2-0 on poles and wins so far this week :-)

Got a PB and pole in qual. Was happy with the lap, got a little held up but also got a nice slipstream from Barret, so I doubt I could have gone much faster.

The race was easy enough. Forgot to practice a start so my getaway was average at best, but I was still in position to beat Joco to T1. He never really challenged after that so I cruised on home. Lucky I didn't have to push really, because I was extremely close on fuel at the end. Got the low fuel warning with a lap and a half to go, but because R07 doesn't show me how much fuel I have I had to hope I could make it to the end... I doubt I had more than a litre or two at the finish, and that was from starting on a full tank. Request the races being a lap shorter from now on!!!

one of my worst ever races!

Rubbish qualifying, after qualifying i pressed 'drive' button accidentally in menu instead of 'car set up', so i was on grid with 7 laps of fuel. So 2 stops for me! (dont like new menus in race07)

Had a great start from 13th to 7th on first lap but that was as good as it got after that i must have spun on average once a lap after that...

This was my first online race with Race07 and Radicals. I practised few times offline. At a qualy i managed to clinch fifth grid. I was very happy for that result as my goal was to be around ten. My speed suprised me.

At race i got fairly good start and i managed to hold my position. After about one lap i made my first mistake and droped down to 9th place if i remember it right. At that point i started to push on my limit and it cost me some positions. I was 2 or three times managed to catch 6th position driver and allways i made some mistake and again i had to push. Finally at the end of race i managed to get past and finished in 6th position.

If i would have driven stable lap times without an error i could have finished in 4th. Put thats racing and i have to make my laptimes more constant and even.
