Oschersleben Ameri Cup

Qualified 8th, finished 7th. Had a good race overall, moved up to 2nd due to a couple of mishaps by others and then just slowly dropped back and settled in to 7th. Very happy finishing 7th with my tires fading at the end! Congrats to my teammate Ted on his win!! Good job everybody, its a pleasure to be racing with you all!!

Got a pretty good start off the line and after about the third lap or so didn't see much in my mirrors (thank god) :)

Anyway had a pretty good setup with not a whole lot of fade at the end. Still think I left some front end grip in the garage somewhere... but am very happy to get that first win under my belt!!
Now hopefully there won't be too many races between wins, one never knows and needs to enjoy it now. Thanks for the race everybody and thanks Tim for the RACE2PLAY site where we all can come to race!
On a side note the replay system in race sucks! :) jmho.

Great fun guys! Sorry to Bill M. for coming back onto the track infront of him after Blankman hit me for the SECOND time! I did let you go by before I got going again. Other than that it was a great time racing these SR cars. I hate Valencia, but I still may see you all there. Chow!

Tough race for me. I chose carne asada over practice so this is what I get ;p

Qed in 10th which was fine. I tested the limits of the car and behavior over bumps so I thought I was cool for the race.

But on lap 1 I spun out of the 3 kink left, fugging everyone behind me up sorry guys.

On lap 2 I spun SParadise but he got going ok infront of me. Then I go to pass him a few corners later and we barely tap on the exit and he flys off track (GTL style)!! I'm sorry Steve for the spin costing you a couple spots, and I'm sorry you lost more spots from the small contact later but you shouldn't have flown off like that(game or lags fault).

I had a tough time passing people, I was impatient and pissed off at myself for crashing ad spinning someone. Later on I spun again in the chicaned corner unexpectedly. Clean crusing to the end after that.

Dissapointing race, some bad decisions and driving by me, sorry if I bugged you.

A homely one on my part, and apologies again to Mike (already did via PM) for getting into him not once but TWICE. Hadn't practiced here at all, and it was a bit of a shock finding how bad my Estoril setup worked here. Tweaked on it right up until the race start, but still couldn't come up with a stable car that I felt like I knew the limits of. Should've just chilled and let whatever came to me do so instead of trying to push in that state, but that's the red mist for you I guess.

Stopped and waited for Mike to get going both times and was glad to see him finish ahead of me, but still hated mucking up his race. We did have some good racing along the way though, and I had a very fun dice with my mate Bill late in the race. Stuck my nose in just about everywhere I could manage, but he did a great job of keeping the holes just tight enough that I didn't dare trying to squeeze through. Very nicely done!

Grats to the podium and everyone else who's figured out how these cars like to be driven.

Steve, did you read my Pre-Race post, setup is NOTHING like Estoril?

I don't know what was up with me tonight, had a low 25's setup prior night, but never got into the 25's tonight??

Anyway, made some drastic setup changes just before the race and that was a BAD IDEA, push push push push push, ugh!

Pretty amazed I finished 6th. I think I hit Barry early on and slowed to give him the spot back, sorry!!!

Found myself in 5th mid race, but I had such a bad push -- then some of the fast guys caught up and I was doing my best to hold position, but was just not gonna happen.

Too bad, I had good expectations for this race, but I just sucked.

I probably should have unregistered for this race, because I did not have much time to practice this week. I just wanted to race anyway. Live and learn I guess. I spun off the track about 3 times due entirely to driving errors. Thus, 17th place finish.

Fun race, but had to push every lap.Rob go into me early & was nice enough to give the spot back. From that point on I tried to keep the pressure on Garret, but he never made a mistake. i had Kevin S. on me for a bunch of laps & I knew it was only a matter of time before he would make the pass.
he showed alot of patience & made a clean pass.
I still have no idea how to set these cars up, and if it really makes a difference. Made all kinds of changes & still was running the same lap times.

Tough luck, got a great start and T-1 I was hit from behind not bad, tehre were 3 of us trying to squeeze and luckily we all made it through, but 2 corners later I was punted into a spin in lap 1, which made me loose the 2 positions I had gained....The rest of the race was fun having T. Rue and R. Robbins fighting until I self spun in last corner...

Had fun and this time my engine did not overheat... :P
