Euro G3: Nurburg

Quali was average and I really had to push at the end to beat Mikko's time, I just managed it before running out of laps. My time equalled Milan's record but it doesn't show in the track records, oh well, I didn't actually beat it, just equalled it.
Pablo was all over me at the start and I only just held the lead. Then it was more of the same for a long time, Pablo seemed to have a very quick pace and was constantly testing me. My car was good enough on the straights to keep him behind me and eventually he over-cooked it coming out of T1, unlucky Pablo, you had me under immense pressure up until then. I breathed a sigh of relief and just concentrated on not overheating the tyres and maintaining the gap to 2nd. It was very nice being in the faster car after being in the Z3M here last season, what a difference!
I got in a panic towards the end because my PC showed a 22 lap race distance and I didn't have the fuel for that, I short shifted the last couple of laps and kept going after 20 laps just incase, everyone else who left the track showed as DNF and when chat showed on screen I thought it was safe to press "escape" even though my crew were trying to fill my car up for another lap. Thankfully everything worked out fine but it had me worried.
Grats to Pablo for 2nd and Carl for a great 3rd in his first race in a long time.

Well, it was fun at the back. Had some good close racing with Goran early on, then Barry for a few laps. Good clean driving.

I was foolish taking the Elise though, but I'm not sure how much time I can commit to this series, so at least I was well out of everyones way.

Well done everyone for putting in such consistent times. I was sure I'd come across a spinner/incident victim somewhere, but it never happened.

with a minimum training in this car (new for me), it was a good result.

My mistake was to use soft tires in the front. I was the fastest in the beginning but Darren didn't make mistakes. Congrats

I was training on a Hockenheim GP track, lol. I always mix up these German names. I was well surprised with the track when I joined the server, made just a few laps and there was a quali sess going. All in all I know I couldn't be faster with that setup, so... Used med/hard combo, 'cause other tyres were overheating and were worn too fast. Also, I took 40 min worth fuel and used all of it !!!
Had a nice close racing with Kevin Dolan towards the end - one more lap and he would pass, I'm sure. That Viper is a beast and Cup car can't really match its pace. Good racing, Kevin.
