F3-P Silverstone Sprint

After that first race I was going to sit it out, but Tim talked me into just starting last and waiting after the green to go. So I did, started 13th I think, passed one guy sitting on the grid and another that had to wait for him. Came out of T1 and there was another off to the side, by the time I got to the end of the long straight there were 2-3 more guys off the track there. Finished lap 2 in 4th and had the 3rd place car Myrick just ahead. But before I could even get a feel for Myrick some dude that crashed earlier comes flying past me sliding into one of the slowest corners and just misses me and Myrick. Same dumb** that did the same thing to me in race one. Myrick raced nice and clean like it should be done, with each of us giving each other plenty of room. A lap or so later he had a little slip in the esses and I got inside of him on the straight, we were side by side with me having the preffered line. I slowed real early incase he decided to dive across me..he did the right thing and backed off giving me the position WELL DONE Myrick! THAT's the way online sim racing is supposed to be when a faster car is making a move.

Rest of the race was just keep it on the track for me, Dmitry and Pat were long gone and I had nothing for them anyway.

WEll, first race for me ever online, i am not at all pleased with the outcome....Im sorry if i messed anybody up, but i didnt think it was gonna be that intense...

With absolutely no practice decided to enter the race for some reason. I have a few laps on this track but not in this car. Very limit time in these things I used to think were hard to drive, But after spending three days and a couple hundred laps trying to get a porsch to go around Varano these things are a cake walk... I only spun once, that was while getting passed in a high speed section and like the rookie i am i lifted... Had a good race would have like to have gone a little faster. I am thinking a going to run these from now on instead of the prc races.

Thanks for the props!! You were on me big time, so I knew that if I tried to keep ahead of you I would take myself or both of us out. 4th is better than a DNF. I think I had too much wing as you guys would really get a run on me in the straights..

I've run enough league stuff to know that banzai is not the way.. and for the most part people need to remember that sportsmanship goes a long way in these things. Most people bounce around in a few leagues so you want to make a good name for yourself as a clean driver. I am not a fast driver by any means, but I want to be a welcome participant.... plus when I do make a mistake, I hope that most will not view it as intentional.

In short, dont be a tard, unless you are gunning to be a tard, but people will remember.

Great race!

This race was quite calm for me.

Starting 3rd, after reversing the grid from Feature race, I took a good start and found myself on the 2nd place after the first two turns.

The guys behind me were ~2-3 sec away and were fighting each other, so I tried to benefit from the situation and run away.

Around lap 4 or 5 I noticed that the 3rd place is more then 10 sec behind. Pat was way faster so I had no chances, except his mistake, but it didn't look like he's going to make one, so all I had to do is to bring my car to the finish line without accidents on the 2nd place.
