Euro G3: Zhuhai

Got a great start off the line,managed to get in front of johan but not sure if i was enough past to block him so he managed to squeeze back trough on the inside making it 3 cars wide going into turn 1 with my teammate heinz on the outside who i made slight contact with(sorry mate).
Going into turn 4 Nick Beckers slammed me into the back of me spinning me and valtteri into the gravel,down to 12th i had a good time getting past the slower bmw's n porsche's until i caught up with 4th Brian Fairly in a viper,had a few laps battling some good defensive driving then going into turn 1 i was caught out by brians braking and pushed him into the gravel(sooo sorry).A few more laps and i saw heinz spin up ahead and thought i might get a chance to put some pressure on him but he got going again and pulled away from me until the end. Happy with a 4th!!

Comp kept frozing in practice session (3 times) and i though it wasnt a good idea to race ... :(

My comp froze up during the switch from warmup to race. Had to hit the reset button. :(

Got home from another University visit late and jumped into the server before qual with no preparation. Did a shocking job in qual and ended up near the back. Got a decent start and i was battling just ahead of Pete by the end of the 1st lap, but got messed up by a Viper and Pete made a good late braking move into the last hairpin. I was able to get the run on the way out and we were side-by-side into the last corner, but Pete didn't give me any space so we made contact and he went off. As we turned in I had 3/4 of a car overlap so I think I had enough that Pete probably should have given me a line, so I'd call that a racing incident. It was still a shame though.
Pretty much just tried my best against the vastly superior Vipers for the rest of the race. Made a penultimate lap pass on Valtteri but he would have run out of fuel anyway. Nice race but the restrictions really suck.

I can't understand why people gotta try so hard on L1?
And even after Nick practically punted 2 cars out of the road he didn't even go suffer stop & go, dunno if the rules have changed but last time I remember that was the rule. I wish we could have easy driving for the first lap since it's not like the only chance to win the race, you're just gonna ruin others' race if you dont drive carefully.

Really struggled underbraking, which eventually caught carl out when he was chasing me, just couldnt seem to stop the beast as quick as others around me. Sorry if this caused problems to anyone.

Finished 6th, so all in all, not too bad

I hate to brake it to you Valterri, but you were also involved in pushing me off the track :P, i dont consider it a punt, but it was still krap for me.. lost quite a few places, i thought it was a kind of justice when you landed in the kitty litter aswell, sorry it is a little mean to say, but i do think this race start was mad.

Dont get me wrong, I thought this start was extremely harsh for a few drivers .. I had a good run down to T1, but being on the outside made me pretty insignifacant into T1, with Carl and Johan trying to outbrake each other behind milan, i was left for dead being on the dirty part of the track..

Than Valterri came round and pushed me off track, and i had to get off the gas and come back on slowly, dropped back to 9th i think ..

I had a few scares for the rest of the lap, didnt see scott get on the outside of me and we had a side by side touch, sorry scott, hadnt realised you had got that far round me on the outside, then a battle getting passed nick beckers, and after i got passed him, he tried to outbrake me into T1 and lost out, then he just vanished .. i hope he didnt push escape, thats serious injustice after he punted 2 drivers on Lap 1.

anyhow, tried to catch Johan in second again, and was doing pretty well, until i spun :( oh the misery. Had to settle for 3rd...

Milan was a machine in the viper tonight.. very fast

I must apologize to one of the Viper drivers in front, we had a contact in the tight right hander towards the end of the track. The corner was crowdy and the cars were criss-crossing, so the contact was unintentional. I wanted to wait for you but I saw a mass of cars behind me and I would cause a carnage, so I drove on.
Also when I lapped Graham I wasn't prepaired to brake so early. It's easier to ease off on the straight, Graham, in the same car I can't pass if you go full speed the whole straight.
Vipers are way faster here, so the chances of Cup porkers were very low. I don't see them as the same class cars.
