Congrats to Tommy for a good win!!

Sometimes I wonder, am I playing on R2P or a public server. There was just some bad driving out there. Cars were sliding around righ and left. A little practice before race might actualy help.

@ Graham Dickinson. Punting on first lap is not aloud. You didn't even do a drive through. Will be filing a complaint on your behave.

@ Chip Wiegand. Your a good guy Chip but sometimes it's just a bit better when you wait for the guy after you hit him. It does show some respect for other driver. Maybe you meant to stop, maybe you didn't. I don't know.

Despite running out of fuel. I had a fun race.
Great battle in the early stages with J Mueller, untill he eventually put a great pass on me and took my spot. Nice driving John.
Rob Melchione was also very patient, passed me and disappeared within a few laps, no suprises he finished where he did.
Few other scraps throughout, Marciej, was certainly testing me out in the later stages. Some very clean driving indeed.
Congrats to the podium, great racing. Well done to Mark and Rob, consistant as always.

Well that sucked. Bit over 3 laps to go running 2nd and Zap; black screen, total PC lockup. Yet another DNF for me this ill-fated season. G3 in particular's just been plagued with 'em -I've finished 1 of 5 races so far; 1 crash, 2 late or last-lap engine failures and now a PC failure. What a PitA!

Had been pretty fun up until then, and I was looking forward to trying to stay ahead of Mark. Don't know that I could've, as I was pretty squirrelly. I hadn't done a long enough stint in a Tank yet to get familiar with how it went on worn tires, so I was struggling. Darned thing is a beast... ;-)

I'd been pretty nervous from the start since I didn't feel solid in the car, and sure enough I kept making dumb mistakes and lost all the ground I'd gained in the opening laps. Kept having stuttering issues too, which was annoying - I'm going to add another Gig of RAM (1GB now) and see if that helps. Something's got to!

Anywho, I was floundering a little and Tommy got onto me, then got a run onto the S/F straight and got under me into T1. We bumped a bit on entry but no worries, he had the line and the corner. Tried to get sorted and put up a fight after that but was still too erratic; I'd gain some only to lose it back again. Finally made one big mistake and lost enough time that I figured it scotched any hope I might have had at contending for the win, so I just refocused on trying to get home in 2nd.

Wasn't to be unfortunately; WD to Tommy for a smooth drive to the win and to Mark and John for getting on the podium. Hope my going poof didn't cause you any issues, Mark!

Johnny, I don't know where this concept of waiting for someone came from but it certainly ain't a part of racing. It's just plain ridiculous. Then contact was completely unintentional, I barely touched your car. It just happened to be on the inside of a turn so you spun out, it happens, it's part of racing, get over it. Besides, you obviously didn't notice I made a complete stop next to you, then continued.

Why did you stop then? I know the contact was completely unintentional. And yes, yes you did touch my car pretty hard. Why did I go spinning out of control when it was fully my line? Next race I'll go and punt people in the back and come out with my new slogan, "It's just part of racing". How about next time you break earlier. Then there won't be any problems.

Well this wasn't a horrible race for me but it wasn't a great one either. I think the only good things for me this race was: (1) I got to drive my fav car the Viper & (2) I didn't hit anyone. Other than that there wasn't to much good. I kept having problems picking where to brake and almost went off track many times. Then the best I could qualify at was 17th. The highest I saw it go was 14th but that was only after the first qualifying lap. I must apologize to the Porsche I was racing with. I don't know if I blocked you when I got past you the first time. If I did, I'm sorry. Then I started having problems just doing good racing lines at the end of the racing. Then as if things couldn't get worse I run out of gas on the second to last lap. Yay, DNF for me again.

I know most of my problems are due to the controller I use. I'm using a X360 controller. Not the greatest I know but it does the job for right now. I'm really hoping to get a wheel soon. Really really soon... ;) Congrats to the podium finishers. Great job.

Qualified 5th and was very excited to get a high finish. Battled with Andrew Peeler the entire race, with Ralph Kemmerer only .5 sec behind the entire race. Lots of contact, but I stayed on the racing surface. Then Andrew went off the road and reentered, I made hard contact with Ralph, but the car was ok, and I was running 7th. Andrew got a Stop and Go, and I was looking to finish 5th or 6th. But alas, I was running low on fuel. I started short shifting for the last 2 laps, but I ran out with 1 turn remaining. I am still upset about it. I saw that 3 other people ran out of fuel this race. From now on I will put in enough for an extra 10 laps, or do more testing. If this was real racing, I would fire my pit chief (or whoever estimates the fuel load). :)

Sorry for the contact, mate. Entirely my fault. What may have apperared to be a banzai pass was me actually trying to avoid contact with you. I think Andrew got a little sideways and you had to slow more than usual and I didn't pick up on it quick enough so I dove to the inside hoping to slow enough before the corner.
Last race at this track with the Viper I too ran out of fuel with 2 laps remaining. The calculations seemed to be off for some reason. Otherwise a great race with you and Andrew for the entire distance, very clean and exiting.

Nice win Tommy, when i seen your name on the list, i knew you were gonna be tough. For some reason i thought Steve was gonna be in a z3, when i spyed on him in practice i noticed the Viper.. oh no! And J. Mueller, we've had our battles before. :-)

You know i've never gotten a pole in my sim racing life. Sort of thought this race could have been the one, but nooooo Steve had to go and be quicker. :-p The start of the race didn't go as planned, went from 2nd to 5th by T4. I really need to work on my starts, i lost 5 seconds to the leaders in the first 5 laps. I had the pace, just need to get up to speed quicker. Blah

After Tommy go around Steve, Tommy started looking around the track, "oh, when did they paint those grandstands", "look, a groundhog, how cute is he" 'cause that boy left us. :-p

Steve, when you disco'd i thought my night was over. My heart stopped as i drove through your car, usually when a car disco'es i've gone bouncing off the car and ends a race. I was shocked when i came out the other side with no problems. After i used the defibrillators to get my heart going again i almost missed the last turn..LOL What a crazy 5 sec. It's a real bummer that that happend, i wanted a fair battle with you. :-)
