That was definitely a good run.

A strong start saw me ahead by already two seconds exiting Adelaide. Brandon battling with Conor and others behind then surely gave me an advantage as I was running with a clear road ahead.

This game's pit management is horrible. I think several people ESCd out because they weren't expecting to need to use the starter button. Personally, I only knew ahead of time because I gave an offline race a go with AI, and found out that way.

Looking forward to further races... Conor nearly had the lap record here in qual... 4 tenths up by sector 2 would have netted him a 1:46.5!

This was a good race especially for the multiple battles for second i had with 3 different people! Lots of overtaking back and forth made this track quite a nice challenge. I did some wing changes before the start of the race and it had a negative affect on my times so i had a lot of trouble at first adapting to it. Tristan was way too far ahead for me to even think of challenging him so i put him out of my mind and concentrated on keeping second.

I had to race with Connor, Peter, Rob, and Garret throughout the whole race so there really was no "boring" moments. The racing was rather clean except for a small bump i received on the last chicane which made me cut the track and at the second high speed chicane myself and Rob were side by side. I do not think he realized i was right there as we were going into the turn we bumped and he got the worse end of it. I am sorry if your car was severely damaged :(.

Other than that... great start to this fantastic series! Congrats to all who finished and i hope i can stay in the top 3 at the end!

OMG !!! How do you friking pit in Race 07?... Nice 10 laps, just a self-spin before the pitting....Lap 12 is time to go to pits to refuel, the car drives by itself once it enters pitlane, shuts off, starts refueling, 10 secs, 20, 25, 30, for 12 laps of fuel??? Geez!!!...All of the sudden, the friking game just takes me out and DNF!!! WTF??? :P....

How do you pit? I was liking Race 07 until now...What a stupid way to pit!!! I just got screwed with $12.99USD!...lol...

This game is really beginning to annoy me. So many bugs, glitches and ways it's a step backwards for Simbin, and it's a real shame since there's lot to like about it otherwise. You can tell they really felt the loss of the group that bailed to form Blimey! Hope they find their feet for the next one.

Anywho, my chief gripe tonight was total loss of FF when I entered the starting grid. It had worked fine in practice and qualy, but I hit the race and suddenly had zero resistance; you could've spun the wheel lock to lock with a twirl of a finger. If my ranking hadn't gotten slaughtered by that DNF last night I'd probably have pulled the plug straight away. As it was, I pulled over at the end of lap one and let everyone behind me by since there was no way I was going to try that in traffic.

Not that I was expecting much; hadn't prepped and was still running the same setup from that fun run at Curitiba a while back with a boatload of wing on. No idea if it was too much or not (24/30), but it was slooow down the straight.

Got back going, took a few laps to figure out how not to kill my virtual self and then started looking for some pace. Worked my way up and had what was the saving grace of the night, a good long dice with Ryan for 7th. It was interrupted by our stops, his being a lap prior to mine, but when I got back out we were right back were we had been. Finally stuck the nose under at Adelaide (probably the heavy wing doing some good under braking) and managed to just hold on. He had a fight coming from behind by Mark who got by right near the end, otherwise I don't know if I could've held the spot.

C;est la vie - on to the next one. At least I didn't hit anyone tonight!

Congrats podium. Good race, very fast and intense pace at the start guys!!

I hung in there fine in 7th for a few laps until I got loose coming out of the final chicane. Lucky only one guy was hung up, the rest avoided me. I hope you weren't damaged. Got going again in 9th. I stayed a couple seconds behind until my pit on lap 14, and SB caught up to me out of nowhwere. Pit was good and after the rest of the pits, Steve B comes out of pitlane just on my tail, where he was when I pit. I stayed just ahead for 4-5 laps until I had to open the door before I figured he would force through ;) Followed close for a few laps but I had worked my tires so hard to stay ahead that I started sliding alot and lost ground to MCarty who got past as well.

Great race guys, way to keep the pace up and keep your tires under you! I'll have to practice a bit more to keep up.

Omar, I don't know what you mean "the game took you out" a disconnect maybe? I just slow down for the pit and it is all auto from there, engine shut off for fuel and then it starts up and drives all automatically. Just make sure your wheel is straight at the end of pitlane. Pit limiter is also auto engaged and removed. I will check out my game options to see why it's all auto for me and others have to start their car manually. As far as the length of the pitstop, that's all auto so I bet it puts full fuel. Or maybe it matches what you start with?? I haven't done any testing or anything to see how much it adds, I've just pit slghtly past halfway and it's been fine.

I started with fuel for 13 laps... All was fine in pits until it took forever to load the fuel all of the sudden it took me to the "Timing" screen, so it was not a "disco"...Otherwise it would have taken me out of the game...or to the other screen...Like it happen one practice session a wekk ago...Anyways, I hope this R-07 gets a patch, cause it can be fun.... :)

Sloppy race for me but it turned out to be pretty fun. Guess I am still deep in the learning curve of the G25.

Started 2nd, two tenths off of Tristan but left quite bit on the table after screwing up in Lycee.

Terrible launch off the grid left me in 3rd after Brandon edged by me in T1. I eventually got 2nd back but got hit from behind in one of the hairpins a couple laps later and lost it again. Peter then got me in the last chicane and then found myself in 4th. The car was a handful which eventually led to my biggest mistake of the race when I ran out of talent and let the car drift too far out wide in T1 and got into the gravel. Came back on track in 11th but kept my head in the race and procedded to work my way back up. By the time pitstops came, I believe I was back in 4th and chasing Rob and Garret.

After the stops, I was back to chasing Rob again. I kept up with him but never could quite catch up and pass him. Towards the end of the race, though, we caught up to Steve and Garret and had a nice little battle which brought us closer. I did manage to get around Rob at one point but lost again a couple corners later after making a mistake in one of the chicanes. I was able to get around Garret and Steve which kept me in 4th and after an up and down race like, that's fine with me :).

Grats to Tristan for another dominating win.

These are wonky feeling cars but I think they will produce a lot of good racing down the road, so I'll stick around :). As for the pit stops...why even bother? Just get rid of them and have a 20-25 min race full of good racing without the hassle.

YES!!!

I messed up the start and left the line early. Had to do a stop and go penalty. So I dropped into last about 20 seconds back I think. Ending up in 12th place was ok with me. The pit stops and the start in this game are hard for me to get used to. But I like the racing.

^Yes!!!...get rid of the pitstops in R-07...They s*ck!... :P
