Euro nGTx: Nurburgring

I got home just a bit too late to enter and/or unsubscribe. Hope you guys had a good grid and race.

Again I have to sum up another DNF in nGT due to a collision against a wall. I was feeling good at the back fighting with Tom, I had already done half of the race and after pits, trying to get away from Tom again, I took a much-too-tight turn and hardly hit last turn's wall to find myself spinned and with my suspension broken.

Tom was quite close and could not avoid me, hope it wasn't too much trouble.

After I crashed I was watching Pablo's climb-up and his pursue of Ari and it was amazing, though I think Ari had worn tires and a slower car, therefore his race for 2nd was superb.

Start was good enough to take p2 from Tolga. After a few laps I ran wide in the last corner, back to third. A few laps later he was in a gravel trap, upside down, I'm back to second. A stop for just fuel put me in the lead briefly but Pablo didn't have much trouble passing my RS with worn tires. A fine race overall, and since Scott was missing, that gave me a big lead in standings.

Anyway, how can I create screenshots in-game?

Pffft lol.

I had a decent setup for that race and i just ruined it by the help of suxx gtr2 physics.

I got 2nd in qualy which was ok for me coz pablo was flying lol.

I lost the 2nd to Ari with the start, but i was a bit faster with my rsr against his rs; very good job from him btw with rs :) then i could pass him when he goes off track a bit then i started to increase gap lap by lap till i visited the sandtrap and car jumped then back to track on nose lol. I lost there like 10-15 secs and most importantly i lost concentration :( I worked to get positions too hard and could get 2nd after every1 pitted. I entered the pits with Mark who was just behind me. Another noobish mistake from me that i changed tyres even i planed not to change doh. I was out of concentration and lost the chance to get top 3. But at least i had fresh rubber and wanted to have some fun. I came from pits at 8th position but i was too fast compared to the guys in front of me. I forced too much which caused me spin twice and another jump then nose to the track. I lost the will to race and just cruised around to get finish.

I m only sad about having a decent setup and couldnt been able to use it well.

I was slower than I had expected but had a blast. Nice close racing with Francisco, he was much faster on turn in, and I think I was a tad faster coming out of corners...

The bump was no biggie, had no impact on anything, I have hit that barierr on last corner more times than I would like to admit.

I had a decent start from 5th and gained 4th by T1. I could tell early that I wouldn't have enough for the T3, but tried to hang on to them as much as possible. I gained 3rd when Tolga flipped out. From there, I had a great battle with Kieron for 3rd. He was never more than .7s behind me up until the pitstops. I had to keep it very clean to keep him behind. We were running identical lap times for the most part. I stayed out until the tank ran dry and came out about 15s ahead of Kieron and the same behind the Ari/Pablo battle. I just cruised to the end to pick up 3rd.

Had a bit of a rubbish start and lost a few positions in T1. The next couple of laps I had some fun racing with a couple of cars.

Eventually broke free of them and I then closed up on Garret. I was a little quicker but I couldn't get a run on him anywhere. I maybe could have had a go going into the chicane, but I felt I was a bit too far behind to give it ago.

Was still on his rear bumper by the time I had to make my stop. Took fuel and tyres, and with some guys just taking fuel in their stops mine put me back abit.

I was able to charge back upto 4th though so I was happy enough in the end. Would have been good to continue the fight with Garret in the 2nd stint though :).
