USA WTC: Valencia #1

Just like the Euro Race #1, there were some issues here too. These results are preliminary as I need to review the replay to help out a few of those that did finish the race, but are listed as DNFs.

A few of you had to be booted from the server because you would not stop chatting. Please remember, while YOU may have had problems, there were still 15 others on track and racing while you were distracting them. Unfortunately, there is nothing the Stewards can do to remedy those situations so any chatting is useless.

What a crazy time. Qualified with the pole only to make a dumb mistake on Lap 6 giving the win to Ryan. Good job not screwing up with me breathing down your neck after that. I get ya next time. Chow

I may be due a penalty in this one - it was hard to tell what was going on at the start the way the game was flaking out (at least for me - even my local replay stutters like crazy), but it looks like I got into Scott in T1. Wasn't sure in the race as jittery as everything was, so I looked for Steward's instruction about doing a D-T but didn't see any so I kept on. Glad to take a penalty if it's due.

Well it was ugly with all the invisible cars apparently. There was no problem for me luckily other than getting a small bump from someone who could not see. My only comment would be please if you cannot see anyone and there is obviously a problem just esc before the race starts or just pull off to the side immediately don't do a lap. Please review the replay and see the destruction you all caused by driving around blind!!! It was fun to watch since I came out clean but I'm sure some will be upset ;p

So I got away clean, me and Mike pulled away thanks to the crashing behind and I followed him for many laps. Like he says, he goes off and I pass him by a couple of seconds and held him at that gap until the end. Fun race Mike, I turned off my mirrors and watched the time gap so your mind tricks couldn't work ;p

Happy with the win but too bad it didn't happen in a smooth race.

The server replays still do not show those half-disconnected drivers so I have no way of helping these guys by putting them in their proper finishing position. Unfortunately the results (finishing order) will remain how they are, but I'd like to offer a removal of the DNF to those individuals that finished the race but did not get scored as a finish.

So, if you completed this race but are still scored as a DNF, please email me privately and I will remove the DNF. Again, the actual finish positions will not change though. Very sorry.
