I had a very good race here today. I saw alot of clean battles ensuing and everyone drove cleanly, from what I could tell...

Not me... I had 2 drivers punt me off when I was letting them pass... Maybe not the best place to pass, but it cost me 2 trips to the pits due to the damage sustained...Then I lost it in lap 37 because the car was already undriveable... :)...

Was driving really well (by my standards) until the first stop, when I span braking into the pits for the second race in a row. Got to get that sorted out.

Congrats and sorry to one of the CanAm cars who did a great avoiding job, I tried to reverse out of your way when I should have stayed still, schoolboy driving on my part, luckily you managed to get round me.

That trashed my concentration and I couldn't get properly going again, got some aero damage and couldn't keep up with backmarkers on the straights, so had trouble getting round them on this tight track. Had to go into safety mode and get the car home.

Grats to the podium, looking forward to the next one.

Was a tough race from the start.

Qualiy was fun with about 4 guys all chasing 2nd spot behind Tristan. After every lap someone else was in 2nd, you'd get bumped down then the next lap you'd get it back. Luckily for me I managed to keep hold on to it in the end.

For some reason though my force feedback decided to play silly buggers in the race. It felt dead and was hard to "feel" what the rear of the car doing. It was harder to turn the wheel and the forces where all muffled. It felt like the steering column was attached to a great vat of treacle. It never came back to me on the pace lap so I was stuck with it like that in the race.

Start went fine and I managed to keep my place although Barry H was watching me closely in the opening laps. I went as fast as I dared with my "new" Force feedback and I was able to get a bit of a gap to Barry. Tris was long gone :)

15 mins in though Stanislav moved up to 3rd and he was soon on to me. He was right with me 5 mins later going into the right left after T2. I tried to go a bit quicker to keep him behind me but the curb upset the car in said corner and I spun, hitting the armco with the nose but luckily no damage was done to the car.

Quickly checked for on coming cars and it was all clear, buried the throttle and got the car facing the right way and got going again. Dennis M was now right on me but after a few laps I started to pull away a little.

Came in for my first stop bang on 30 mins in and dropped down to 10th place. Caught up to John O after a few laps and we had a nice little run. I managed to leap frog Stanislav in the pits and he soon joined in too. We caught up to Ralph K after a couple more laps and coming up to the final chicane he went wide and let John past. I was pretty close behind John so I figured he'd seen me as well so I went for the same gap.

I'd guessed wrong though as when I was along side Ralph he sped up and got back onto the racing line, tapping me slightly and squeezing me up against Champions wall. I had to lift which gave Stanislav the chance to pass me in which he did. Unfortunately for Ralph it looked like Stanislav tapped his rear when he went past and half spun Ralf into the barrier so I had to be careful not to get caught up in it.

Managed to pass John after he ran wide at the hairpin and by this time the pitstops where over with and I was in third with stanislav in second a couple of seconds up the road. The rest of the stint was just trying to keep stanislav in my sights. He'd pull a away a little but then I'd close back up when we got in traffic.

Pitted with 30 mins left to go still in 3rd. After the shuffle though I again managed to pass Stanislav in the pits to move up to 2nd again. The biggest gap I had to him was around 8 seconds, and with 20 mins still to go I knew he could quite easily catch me again. The gap came down to 7, then down to 6 where it stayed for a good 10 mins. But then it started to drop again and it was down to 3 seconds with about 5 mins to go.

I could see Tristain was closing in on us and I was glad to see him as I knew it would have meant one less lap to worry about Stanislav. I let him by with out loosing any time to Stanislav but I knew he was close. Then the one min to go board popped up the next lap which I was glad to see as I was sure I would get 2nd spot now as this was the last lap.

Then heading down to the hiarpin for what I thought was the last time, I saw Tristan facing the wrong way. I couldn't hang about as Stanislav was right on me so I had to un lap myself to stay ahead, which of course meant another lap.

Fortunately for me though it seemed Stanislav was happy staying behind Tristan meaning his race was over when he crossed the line, giving me the chance to cruz round the last lap to finish 2nd.

Another great but hard race :), grats to Tristan and Stanislav for the podium spots, and everyone who finished the race. Many thanks to the slower guys who did a great job of letting us past.

Yeah... very unprofessionally, I was messing about on the last lap, and tried to dorifto out of the final chicane. I, er, won't be trying that again!

Not much to say, kept the nose clean, while couple cars in front of me made small mistakes.

My 2nd stint lasted a bit longer than I anticipated, and I noticed Kieron and Stan pit several laps before me for their final stop. I was getting better mileage than in practice, so put the hammer down while I was light on fuel, and the 2 of them were heavy. Made up some time, came out of the pits on Stan's tailpipe. Pressured him for a couple laps, and then he decided to stop playing with me and he pulled away pretty quickly as the laps ticked by. :)

Where's the tech inspection Barry? Somebody check Tristan's car for nitrous!
